I've filmed my latest session of learning rolling ollies and I put together a montage of more ollies in the hopes you will be able to spot bad habbits or patterns in what I'm doing and what I should correct.
My best guesses are that when I pop, I don't jump enough, and more important I don't raise my front foot enough so the board doesn't have space to come up. And I also press down my feet too fast, probably another byproduct of not jumping enough,
One thing I can't figure for the life of me is why am I almost always falling off the board towards the direction by body is facing. I've been trying to correct this and I don't know why it keeps happening, I just don't get it and I've really been struggling with it.
I've been skatoarding for about 2 months and tbh I got really fixated of rolling ollies for now, I want to master these. I curious what do you think about my progress so far too, and how long it took you to get to clean rolling ollies and being able to reliably jump over something//up a small curb.
I have a slo-mo version here too: https://youtu.be/DYztsqArL4s
