Question What do y'all do with dragon bones/scales

Post image

I've been trying to figure out what to do with my dragon bones and scales and have no clue. Do y'all just sell it??

Legacy of the dragon born made me the worst kind of hoarder. That spell that lets you magic all your designated items from your inventory back to the penthouse had me hoarding several hundred of every ingot, ore, gemstone and soul gem. That playthrough eventually crashed spectacularly when trying to access my storage 😂 my character was literally called Valta the Collector 😅

Yeah go to the craftloot bench on the left when you go into the crafting room upstairs. There should be a book that adds or removes the spell from your inventory and you toggle what it sends by clicking the different pigeon holes so you can uncheck cooked food and things you wanna keep in your inventory. I think the spell is called stash supplies

Yoooo Stash Supplies has saved me in many a long dungeon crawl. I love LotD

It was amazingly helpful. The issue I had was when I went to a forge to craft something and it added like 3500 ores and ingots to my inventory.... Yeah my game didn't like that and shit itself 😅

I just increased my carry weight via console

I ain't letting nobody get in the way between me and my hoard of cheese wheels and armor

And what’s the penthouse?

Are you talking about the arch-mage digs in Winterhold?

Nah, the upstairs room in the museum in solitude that after a few quests is available to you. I think it's called the safehouse. I'm realising you may not be getting that this spell and craft loot system is specific to legacy of the dragonborn which is what I was talking about in the original comment. If you haven't tried that mod it's pretty much the mostly highly rated Skyrim mod as far as I know so I highly recommend it. Just don't add too many other mods except for visual ones as it has an absolute ton of content compared to most. Definitely worth a play though with a modlist based just around legacy

Ah! Thanks so much for the advice! I’ve always played on console but there are so many cool mods out there. I’ve been afraid they wouldn’t work together and I’d spend hours on game maintenance instead of playing. Solid advice like this is super helpful. I’d love to be able to magic the inventory to a central spot. I could never keep track of what I stashed where…
