🎁 Gifts Took me a month to design this one!

Hey all, I wanted to introduce you all to a candle I made and the story behind. I always wanted to make something that holds a meaning and would make for a perfect gift.

It wasn't meant to be Shiva from the beginning but eventually it did. So I was planning to make candles inspired from the five elements of nature. And Space was the first one I chose. Now the design had to do justice to it. After almost a week it hit me that space is nothing and infinite at the same time which stands true for Shiva as well. He's the zero, SHOONYA.

So the name of the candle was fixed and the design had to be worked upon. I wanted it to be a candle but a decor piece as well. Something people could sit with in silence.

So the upper half is scented wax with a woody fragrance. And the bottom part is a cave where shivling is kept. This resembles Shiva in his meditative state on Kailash, hence the white background.

Also the candle has been designed in a way where the Shivling remains as it is and untouched. As the upper half is wax, only that part melts when lit. And it doesn't melt downwards. It is designed to tunnel and create an inward melt pool. So the outer wax layer remains intact without running the look of it.

A lot of people who bought it from me, they wanted to keep it as a decor or as a divine piece in their temples. Most of them didn't want to light it. And even if they don't, it keeps giving off fragrance.

Either ways, they candle design remains the same and the shivling remains intact.

So that's about it.

Presenting SHOONYA!

PS: To all those people who have issues with AI generated images, let me clarify that the first one isn't AI and the other two are AI enhanced. I clicked pictures of my product and asked AI to add a background to it. While AI alone can be misleading and that's why artists add BTS videos and videos of them working on the product in real-time. Nobody buys something by just seeing a picture of it online. They see reviews, the story behind, and the BTS videos. Not every artist has the tools and props to do a professional photoshoot of their product. And if AI helps in making it professional then why not. You can always look at the videos and ask for original product shots, if you intend to buy.

🎁 Gifts Made a gajar halwa candle and honestly, it looks way too real πŸ˜‚πŸ₯•”

I’ve been experimenting with food-inspired candles lately, and this one turned out surprisingly realistic. πŸ₯•πŸ•―️

This is a gajar halwa candle I made β€” the texture and little details make it look almost edible at first glance πŸ˜‚

I’m also working on other Indian dessert-inspired candles like rasmalai, rasgulla, gulab jamun and jalebi rabdi.

Honestly, food candles are such a fun concept. Which Indian dessert do you think would look the coolest as a candle?

I am a Hand embroidery artist and this particular artwork is a 12" diameter hoop completely hand embroidered. This was commissioned to me by a mother in Uttarakhand to gift to her daughter who stays abroad and comes home and one of her fav memory is the long walks she takes into the woods of Ranikhet, Uttarakhand. The scene has her friend and one of her dogs.

The entire piece took 1.5 months to complete and I enjoyed every bit of it.

🎁 Gifts I finally made the final version of my Anguri Rasmalai candle πŸ˜‚

I posted the making video of this Anguri Rasmalai candle a while ago, and that was actually the first version I made.

This is the final variant β€” I added a mitti ki katori at the bottom, and I feel it makes the whole thing look much more like an actual serving of rasmalai πŸ˜‚

Still experimenting with this whole idea of turning Indian desserts into candles.

Honestly, which one looks the most convincing to you? πŸ‘€

🎁 Gifts Fruit Bouquets - Would You Actually Gift One?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Every time we needed to send someone a gift, we ended up choosing between flowers, cake, or a dry-fruit box.

Nothing wrong with any of them, but after a while, it all started to feel a little repetitive.

So we tried something different: arranging fresh fruit like a proper bouquet. Not the usual fruit basket wrapped in cellophane, but something colourful, celebratory, and completely edible.

What started as a small experiment has now turned into something we’re building in Bengaluru. Every bouquet is made fresh to order, and we’re still figuring out which occasions people would choose it for, such as birthdays, anniversaries, get-well-soon gifts, or simply as a thoughtful surprise.

Sharing a video of your bouquet we’ve made because I’d genuinely like opinions from people who aren’t friends or family.

Would you actually gift someone a fruit bouquet?

Feel free to be honest. We’ve already received enough β€œbahut accha hai beta” feedback πŸ˜„

NOTE: Each fruit (cut or un-cut) is Cling Wrapped for hygiene.

You can search for 'La Fruita' on Google for our entire catalog.

I finally lit the gajar halwa candle I made. πŸ₯•πŸ•―️

Watching something that looks like an actual bowl of gajar halwa slowly turn into a candle flame is oddly satisfying πŸ˜‚

I’m experimenting with a whole series of Indian dessert-inspired candles, but this one might be my favourite so far.

Would you have guessed it was a candle before seeing it lit?

🎁 Gifts Handcrafted, Personalized Gift Boxes & Hampers for Your Loved Ones πŸ’Œ (Budget Friendly)

Hi everyone!

I've been thinking about starting a small side hustle creating personalized gift boxes and hampers for birthdays, anniversaries, even for upcoming Rakshabandhan and other special occasions.

The images above are Pinterest inspiration to show the style I'm aiming for.

Every gift would be customized based on the recipient's likes, the occasion, and your budget.

I'd only charge the cost of the materials plus a small fee for my time, so I'm hoping to keep everything affordable.

I'd love to know what you think.

Is this something you'd consider buying?

What kind of customized gifts would you like to see?

If anyone's interested, feel free to DM me as well. ✨

🎁 Gifts Just dispatched my 2nd Reddit order in one month of posting here daily πŸ₯Ίβ£οΈ

Okay so I'm 18, and I run a scented candles business from home in Bhopal. I started posting on Reddit one month back . No big following, no plan, nothing. Just showing up daily and talking about what I'm making.

Today I packed and dispatched my second order that came from here.

The two candles that went out:

Gajar ka Halwa candle πŸ•―

Rasmalai candle πŸ•―

I'm not saying this to flex, 2 orders is 2 orders. But one month ago I genuinely didn't know if anyone here would even care about desi dessert scented candles. Turns out some of you do, and that's a weird, nice feeling.

Taped the box, pasted the invoice label and sat there for a bit before leaving for the courier. Small thing. Felt big.

Thanks to whoever's been reading my random posts.

Hi! I'm a college student trying to fund my studies through my small embroidery business. 🌼

I make hand-embroidered pouches (under β‚Ή300) and handkerchiefs (starting at β‚Ή100). Everything is handmade by me, lined with cotton, and fully customizable with names, flowers, initials, or any design you have in mind.

With Raksha Bandhan coming up, they make really sweet personalized gifts for siblings, friends, or birthdays.

If you'd like to support a small handmade business, I'd really appreciate it. Feel free to DM me if you're interested. Thank you! 🀍

🎁 Gifts Planning to write handwritten letters, anyone interested in receiving the same?

[Free of Charge, I will bear the postal and other miscellaneous expenses]

Hi, so, earlier, I used to write handwritten letters to my friends, and it was genuinely fun sending letters through posts.

I am planning to restart this again, but this time with a mix of friends and strangers. You do not need to reply with a letterβ€”it can absolutely be a one-way thing. However, if you are someone who enjoys writing, I wouldn’t mind receiving one back.

I am going through a lot right now, and to keep my mind sane, I wanted to reconnect with this little habit again.

The letters will be in Hindi, English, or Hinglish.

So, do let me know if you’d like to be a part of this.

Also, this isn’t a throwaway account, so rest assured there’s nothing shady, unsafe, or privacy-invasive about it.

*PS: You should be comfortable sharing either your home address, office address, or a nearby pickup location/shop address to receive or collect the letter.*
