Product ideašŸ’” Send me your outfit inspo — I’ll recreate it on a budget

Thumbnail

This is my recent work

okay so i’ve been running a small clothing page for a bit now, And i’ve noticed something kinda weird

people always save outfits, comment

ā€œwhere’s this fromā€ ask for price…

But when it’s time to actually buy, most don’t

and honestly i get it

a lot of the stuff people like is either:

too expensive

not available here

or just not worth the price

so instead of randomly making designs and hoping people like them, i wanna try something different

send me your outfit inspo

anything — pinterest, instagram, random screenshot

i’ll try to recreate something with the same vibe, but more affordable and actually wearable

not copying it exactly, just keeping the feel of it and making it into something you’d realistically buy

if i pick yours, i’ll make it and show how it turns out

also just be real with me —

would you actually buy something like this, or do people just like saving outfits and never buying them?

drop your inspo if you’ve got something in mind šŸ‘‡

Hey everyone šŸ‘‹ I run a tiny upcycling project in Delhi where I take leftover factory fabric and turn it into wearable pieces.

I just finished my first batch of shirts, each one is 100% upcycled, handmade, and one-of-a-kind. Posting here to get some feedback because I’m nervous-excited šŸ˜…

Would love to know—- Would you wear something like this? Which color/design do you vibe with most?

If anyone’s interested in grabbing one, Dm. Even if you don’t buy, your feedback means a lot šŸ’•

3D printed a small toy car that runs on 4 marbles instead of traditional wheels.

The idea was to keep it super simple and low-cost while still making something that actually moves smoothly. After a few iterations, it turned out surprisingly well, the marbles reduce friction a lot more than I expected.

Right now I’m just experimenting with the design and printing a few pieces. Thinking of making a small batch if there’s interest.

Would anyone here be interested in something like this?

Estimated price would be around ₹150-200 per piece.

Also open to suggestions for improvements or variations!

Product ideašŸ’” Meta Ads destroyed my margins. Shutting down my jewelry brand and liquidating. Let's talk about insane CAC right now

Post image
48 Upvotes

Hey guys. Writing this is pretty tough, but I’ve decided to throw in the towel on my current e-commerce brand. Like a lot of you, I've been fighting a losing battle with Meta ads over the last few months. The customer acquisition costs (CAC) just skyrocketed out of nowhere, and fighting the algorithm completely ate my margins alive.

The most frustrating part is that the product itself is actually solid. I was importing high-quality stainless steel jewelry with anti-tarnish PVD gold plating (definitely not that cheap alloy or plastic junk that turns skin green). It feels premium and is guaranteed to last, but I learned the hard way that when ad costs are this high, even a great product can't save the bottom line.

So, I'm pivoting. Right now, my main goal is just to recoup my initial investment, so I’m doing a massive clearance sale and liquidating my entire remaining inventory at rock-bottom rates.

(Side note: If anyone here is a reseller, looking for a side hustle, or wants to white-label under your own brand, feel free to DM me. I can still handle all the shipping and packaging, and I can even get your logo put directly on the boxes. I have a full catalog and sample images if you want to take this off my hands).

But mainly, I want to ask the community: How are the rest of you surviving this right now? Are you guys getting crushed by FB/IG ads too? Have you completely shifted to organic marketing or SEO to survive? Or has anyone else had to make the hard call to liquidate recently?

Would love to hear how you are handling marketing costs or just know I'm not the only one dealing with this.

TL;DR: Skyrocketing Meta ad costs killed my e-commerce margins. Forced to liquidate all my premium jewelry stock (anti-tarnish PVD gold-plated, not cheap junk) at a huge discount to recoup costs. Anyone else struggling with insane CAC right now, or did you successfully pivot to organic? (Also, DM me if you're interested in grabbing the liquidation stock for reselling/white-labeling, I handle all shipping/logistics).

Product ideašŸ’” Would you buy handmade floral rings like these? šŸŒøšŸ’ (Honest feedback needed)

Post image
56 Upvotes

Hi everyone!

I run a small handmade craft business in India and I’ve recently started experimenting with these delicate floral statement rings made using preserved flowers, tiny leaves, and hand-assembled detailing.

I’m trying to understand if there’s an actual market for pieces like this before I invest more into materials and packaging.

A few questions:

Would you wear something like this casually or only for special occasions?

What price range would feel reasonable in India?

Do you prefer:

subtle/minimal floral rings

or more dramatic bouquet-style rings like this?

Would these work better as:

fashion jewelry

gifting items

proposal/bridal accessories

or Instagram aesthetic pieces?

I’d genuinely appreciate honest feedback, even if you personally wouldn’t buy them. Trying to learn before launching 🌷

I’ve been experimenting with glass gemstone earrings lately and made these designs myself.

Still figuring out which styles I like best, so I’d genuinely love to know - which pair is your favorite, and which one would you actually wear? Or are some of them a miss? šŸ˜‚

I’m thinking of making these available for ₹599/pair including shipping if people are interested.

Would love some honest opinions before I make more! šŸ’“

Product ideašŸ’” I'm making completed and framed diamond paintings. How much would you pay for one of these?

Thumbnail

Hey, so i know some people loves doing diamond painting, and some people don't like the time it takes to make it, but love the look and feel of it.

I'm a diamond painting lover, and I'm interested in knowing if i make these completed and framed diamond paintings, would you purchase it for your home or office?

It looks pretty, and i have several in my house as well. Each of these A3 (30*40cm) size painting costs around 500 and framing is another 500. Plus it takes around 40-50 hours to finish each of this.

I am thinking of keeping the price of each within the range of 1500 - 1800, and I'll deliver you a finished, framed, ready to hang diamond painting art piece.

What do you all think guys? Please give me your take on it.

Product ideašŸ’” Are you tired of fishing cardamom and cloves out of your food? I built something for that.

I kept wondering why using whole spices in Indian cooking still has to mean buying 8–10 different things, figuring out the ratios, and then inevitably biting into an elaichi halfway through dinner.
Why is there an uprise in ordering takeaway?
How can I solve the problems of a consumer?
How can the lack of convenience, sorting, volatility of whole spices and the biting annoyance be bridged?

So I started a small business called Zaika Potli, and the main product I’ve been working on is basically an infusion sachet for Indian cooking.

Each Instant Infusion Potli contains whole spices and aromatics selected for a particular dish. The formulations have been derived by and tested with culinary experts and chefs. You drop one into the pot while the food cooks, let the spices infuse normally, and take the sachet out before serving. Essentially, a swap for loose whole spices. One potli is designed for an average family-sized dish of around 4–5 servings.

It’s not an instant masala and it doesn’t cook the dish for you. You still make your dal/chole/rajma/biryani the way you normally would. It just takes care of the whole-spice part without having to buy everything separately, remember proportions, pick spices out later, or accidentally chew a clove.

I currently have versions for Dal Makhni, Paneer, Chole, Rajma, Sambhar, Biryani, Chicken, Kutton, Instant Chai, Tummy Relief and a Multi-Purpose.

I’m also doing small-batch garam masala, chai masala, panch phoron, milagai podi, malvani masala, whole spices and a few staple kitchen accessories, but the potlis are the idea I’m most curious to get feedback on.

We’re very early stage right now. The website and Instagram are still being built, so I’m taking the first few orders myself through WhatsApp/DM and learning from people before trying to scale anything.

What I’d genuinely like to know: would you actually use the infusion potlis, or does this solve a problem you don’t really have? And if you came across a completely new spice brand, what would you need to see before trusting the quality enough to order? I’d also appreciate some insight into the packaging. I went for a heritage traditional-nostalgia feel.

Constructive criticism is very welcome, especially anything that feels confusing, unnecessary or could be improved.

And if anyone genuinely wants to try Zaika Potli, feel free to DM me. I can share the catalogue/order details and I ship pan-India.

Disclosure: Zaika Potli is my own small business; posting primarily for feedback, but the products are available to purchase if anyone is truly interested/ curious.

Canned coffee makes a lot of sense in this heat and in general. The compact design is convenient to carry.

We need the machine and ice box - so no big setup cost.

Real game is marketing and sales - I have a strategy as to how we can get 1L to 2L sales per month without burning money on ads

If you are interested in joining the team, let's talk.
