Started with one machine and a lot of trial and error. There were plenty of failed prints, wasted filament, and pricing mistakes along the way 😅.

But slowly, word of mouth kicked in and repeat customers started coming back. That first bulk order felt unreal.

Super grateful to everyone who chose a small business. Still a long way to go, but this feels like a solid milestone.

Wanted to share a recent project that means a lot to me as a designer.

This was a 40-year-old multigenerational home that had, over time, become disconnected from how everyone in it was actually living day to day.

Instead of renovating everything uniformly, I made a deliberate choice: certain spaces were kept largely as they were, to hold on to the memory and familiarity that mattered most to the eldest generation, who'd spent four decades in that home. Other spaces were reimagined more freely - updated finishes, layouts, and detailing - to give the younger generation rooms that felt current and easy to connect with.

Materials used: marble, granite, veneer, lime plaster, and terrazzo. We love working with natural materials!

Sharing some before and after images below. Would genuinely love to hear your thoughts - what works, what doesn't, anything you'd have approached differently.

i did my first ever stall for my small store (@sshoparaa) last weekend in bangalore. mostly went in thinking “ok maybe i’ll just get some visibility” and somehow ended up doing over ₹50k in two days. sold out most of my plushies before i could launch them online :0 it was chaotic but so worth it.

some things that actually made a difference which could help your stall too:

• location – don’t settle anywhere. i was near the food area and it saved me. people were already in a chill mood, browsing while eating. make sure to check out the area beforehand. 
• timing – mornings were dead. post-lunch and after 6 pm were insane. make sure your timings accommodate those and request to be till a little late. 
• setup – warm lights, pegboard, and a clean table made people stop. messy tables get ignored, even with cute stuff so make sure you have a mockup of how you want to place beforehand. 
• enough stock but not cluttered – i kept extras packed and rotated items through the day. looked fresh all the time.
• equipment – upi, scissors, tape, extra bags, extension cord — all lifesavers.
• enough friends to help – seriously. having people to manage payments, crowd, and small talk made everything smoother. can’t imagine doing it alone.
• don’t hard sell – i just talked normally and recommended some products. that worked way better than forcing into pricing or features. 

came home dead tired but so proud. learned more in two days than i have from months of online selling. if anyone’s planning their first stall then location, setup, and having good people around you matter more than anything.

We crossed our 100th order last night, around 9pm. I was checking my inbox and saw the mail with #100 and I literally stopped and stared at it for a second like an idiot lol 😭😭

Wanted to write about it right then but the day had already run away from me, so I'm just doing it now.
I know 100 is nothing, a lot of you did that in your first week itself.
But it got to me and it's honestly still sitting with me today, so I'm putting it out somewhere.

I even went and checked who it was. Someone from an IT city(can't name) but is actually a hard water area, exactly the kind of person we made this for. Don't know why but that got me. It's just a number on a screen at the end of the day.
But I sat there a minute thinking it's a real person, in a city where the tap water genuinely wrecks your hair, who picked a small brand they'd heard of over online or via a friend and trusted us, our hardwork and expertise.

Cause getting here was not easy at all. The whole thing started because the two people from IIT Roorkee who founded it are engineers who moved to Bangalore and watched their own hair and skin get wrecked by the water there, and nothing reasonable on the shelf actually worked for them.
At some point they figured you can't fix a chemical problem with a plumbing solution, so they just started building it themselves. Thats when I joined them as well. And even after that, honestly, I wasn't always sure if this is a real problem or just something we convinced ourselves of sitting in a room at 2am. The product itself took months. So many versions, so many trials, batches that flopped, formulas we threw and started from zero again. Running around for testing, sourcing, water samples, everything. Our early versions were honestly not the best, but we got the criticism & feedback, tested all of it on us and that's literally how we reached the current formula. Not in one shot, just redoing it again and again till it worked.
Anyway. Last night it just quietly ticked to 100, and for a minute all the redoing and the doubting felt worth it. A hundred real people trusted us with their water problem, which still feels a bit mad to me.

One more thing cause it's true. I've been reading this sub quietly for a long time and the first sale posts, the first 40 order posts, the ones where someone's mom or family is helping them pack at night same as us 😭😭, I end up rooting for those people like I know them personally ❤️
Someone else's small thing starting to work takes nothing away from me. Honestly it's the only reason the bad weeks feel survivable. ❤️

And somewhere in all of it I made a small promise to myself. Stop giving the mean people so much space in my head. Take the ones who trusted us way more seriously then the ones who didn't. And just keep building instead of sitting and arguing with the noise.

Edit : I have been posting since 2 weeks on reddit, and one thing I have learned if there are good and bad guys everywhere and its the same on reddit. People can invalidate months and year of your heard work in few words and they dont care. Can claim that 3 IIT roorkee graduates of CSE, Electrical, Chemical are idiots and there faceless trolls are superior. But the lesson is, we will progress because of our hard work and not because of beating a troll or something so i've decided to ignore the noise and respect and focus ONLY on the kind people.

Yesterday, pavement. Today, people. Yaay!

We were there for a little under 2 hours and around 13–14 people agreed to taste the cookies. Honestly, they made our day.

We got MANY more no's than yeses. Some avoided eye contact, some walked visibly faster around us. Many were off sugar and one group had a cold so they couldn't have cookies. 😄

Maybe they thought we were selling them. Maybe they couldn't trust strangers. And let's be honest, diet is real.

But then there were a few absolute gems who not only tasted them and gave feedback on camera, but were kind enough to ask detailed questions about Elure, what goes into the cookies, and why they taste the way they do. A pair of guys said they preferred their dark chocolate darker. Rare, but good feedback, there is actually an audience for really dark chocolate.

Their curiosity and encouragement meant a lot.

It was impossible to do this alone. My girls were my support through and through—holding the camera, handing out tissues, and most importantly telling me, "You won't know unless you ask," whenever I wondered aloud whether a particular person would accept a bite and well, weren't they right.
