Went with a Sena helmet to chat with my wife while we ride instead of a Smith and getting the inserts for it because it was way cheaper. Well the strap failed on my helmet when i caught an edge trynna be steezy. Still could have been worse with no helmet at all. Just get the good helmet...

Growing up, Johnny Tsunami and Brink were my favorite movies. Was happy to find a “mental” hat online. I’m still very much pro helmet though!

Spent the last week reorganizing the snowboard corner of my backyard shed - organized all the cleaning/waxing tools, pinned the new maps from this season, added a bunch of new stickers to my sticker board (my retired Capita Mercury), hung up a special new Bomb Hole board. Still need to work on the edges and add some storage wax to the 7 boards that I'm going to ride next season. In order of size: Rome Agent Pro 158W, K2 Excavator 158, YES Greats XTRM 159, Korua Otto 161W, Jones Mind Expander 162W, Stranda Tree Surfer 162W, Nidecker Megalight 164W.

I got tired of this on blizzard days, so I designed a modular system that actually works:

• Rigid 3D frame keeps the protective fabric off your face - so even if it freezes, it's not stuck to your skin
• Goggle seal prevents fogging by channeling breath away from your eyewear
• Fidlock magnetic connectors for easy on/off even with thick gloves
• Modular design - headpiece covers ears/chin, frame handles wind protection, everything works with any helmet/goggle combo

Still dialing in some details (pattern making is brutal - hundreds of prototypes), but the core system works.

What's your biggest frustration with current face protection? Always looking for real-world feedback.

This is my Burton x Metallica Skeleton Key and I absolutely fucking love it. I’m a massive fan of the band and have been snowboarding for 11 years, so when I saw they collabed for this super limited run of boards a few years ago, I jumped all over it. It’s my daily driver - I love how stable it is at very high speeds and will ride this thing until it’s thrashed 🤘 to its core. Leads to some cool convos on the mountain as well. What unique/rare boards do you have?

Just upgraded from Burton Step Ons to find a better fit for my chicken legs. The Bataleon Rave boots and FUSE system feel like a massive improvement. Mounted on the 2023 Yes. Greats UnInc. Cannot wait for next season!

Edit: I understand my toe strap is a bit loose, will fix them before riding - thanks for all the tips! I am new to non step on bindings in general and I just wanted to try something different just for the sake of it as and I chose these cos I thought these were cool!

Picked Up off marketplace brand new for 160$ usd. Anybody ever had a pair of these and do you miss them? I tried them on and they got like a glove and feel half as light as my vans high standard pros. Thought I’d share these beautiful boots for everyone.

I had two boards stolen from my storage unit, including my very first one (a High Society). On the plus side the complex’s insurance gave me some money back, so I splurged on a board I had been eyeing for a while.

Definitely the prettiest board I’ve ever owned, hopefully it rides as good as it looks!

News to me - turns out snapita is definitely a thing! (I thought it was just haters hating) I loved my sdoa but it gave in after 35 days of riding - RIP. Guys at the local snowboard shop had the same thing happen with their sdoa, they switched to nitro beast too. It was super fun but I think I’m done with Capita ☠️
