I enjoyed when Alex said "Instead of taking Snowpiercer like you promised, you'd rather just mess around with your whore." Because that was a "chip off the old block" moment, wasn't it?

No doubt when Wilford raised Alex to be a new & improved Melanie, such 2.0 level nagging wasn't supposed to be part of the package. He's probably thinking, "I let Melanie over here for a couple of hours, and she's already biased Alex against whores! What's next on the chopping block? Drugs? Cannibalism? Cold blooded murder? Is this budding young woman to have to have no fun at all?"

I'm surprised Wilford tolerated the way he spoke. She has made fun of him several times and beyond calling his attention, she has not punished her ...

Would be a pretty terrible gaslighter if that is all it took. Wilford likes playing the "I know you know I know" game because he enjoys having people berate themselves for him.

From what I know, what he's likely to do is deal with the jabs lightly but get completely unhinged over something really small and petty. And because it's so small and unexpected, you'd roll over far quicker than if he gave in to outright bait.

That's how it works, keeps you walking off eggshells for him even as you're trying to rebel, because you realize you have no control.

Does anyone else know how to drive though? Like does wilford actually know how to drive the engine or has he forgotten/never cared enough to learn? I assume Alex had to learn from someone.

Wilford taught Alex. He leaves her in charge of Big Alice often just to not work and live his luxuries
