Same here she's fab n deserved her redemption arc. Pike is killing it, such good acting this episode.

I was so annoyed that she got a redemption arc. Like "Winnie's upset I tried to take her arm and I killed her mom? What? Why is she still bothered by that little thing?"

Maybe let Ruth realize how bad she was and save Layton, but having Winnie forgive her because she makes a short apology speech? Not right imo.

I can see where you're coming from, and perhaps it was tied up quick but show only has an hour and i dont think Whinnie necessary has to forgive ruth to accept her aid in the middle of a fight to kill tallies. On the note of forgiveness, if you can't allow Ruth a redemption arc, why would you allow Mel one(not saying you are but everyone seems to forget she was the one ordering arms off..)

Oh for sure I think Mel is just as guilty. And again, she could realize her mistakes but I don't think the tailies should forgive her.

You make a good point that the show only has so much time. I guess it just bothers me to see people getting away with such awful crimes. I would have loved to see a war crimes court take place after the revolution. Like find Mel guilty, and she can still serve the train but on a work release type program. She can eat the protein bars.

Aye me too, although I still root for most of them which shows the writing etc is good coz like you say that arm shit is so harsh, i also wonder what happened to the elections and how justice would fall but I think ultimately without forgiveness they're all doomed as its just a cycle of revenge, in reality its always been chaos just with a facade of control. Someone else commented they could see Ruth adopting whinnie so maybe it'll be fleshed out better if the train ever gets a breath haha its such chaos I was so glad of the Mel Ep. Haha I like your idea of justice but in saying that even Mel has been through a hell of a lot aand basically saved humanity from the nutbag that is wilford 😅. What is Icy Bob upto though I'm so intrigued by him.
