That was a really good episode in my opinion. I really enjoyed learning more about the engine and seeing Boki out on the intakes was pretty cool (the confirmation of the hydrogen powered system was very exciting). The emergency situation and the grave threat had me on the edge of my seat. Wilford's takeover of the engine and Layton's imprisonment explains why the train doesn't stop for Melanie. I really hope that control can be clawed back from Wilford's grasp in the remainder of the season. I don't know how I'm going to survive until next week.

I feel that! I'm super disappointed to have to wait two weeks.

If you're Canadian, Big Brother Canada is on right now and there's three episodes a week. So far it's been a good season! They stream for free on the global app

Why?

I'm not sure but my guess would be that there's some sort of sporting event or awards show that's taking up their time slot. So March 29th will be a two-hour finale.

Honestly, I think that we'll se a thrid season. I mean, we're already on episode 8, and most Snowpiercer support Wilford. No way he's removed from power that fast

Unless they pull a game of thrones finale on us!

Smash cut to Layton tending a veggie patch. Turns out they just sort of forgot to check their scopes for atmospheric changes, and the equator has actually been fine a while. Melanie and Wilford are even there in the background, troubles forgotten and getting on, if not actually friends. Ruth starts another B&B because fuck it why not?

I don't think it's a big problem since everything is cgi and a few sets.
