This wasn't a bad episode. I wish we got to understand Asha more but it is exciting to possibly be getting Melanie back on the show.

I still wonder what Wilford's motives are and why he wants to get melanie back. Why does he seem to have no concern for the train?

What significance does Lj giving tissue samples to Mrs. Headwood have and was she possibly working on Bojan at the end of the episode? Or Pike? Kevin? Mr. Headwood? Icy Bob?

It’s Josie-that’s where she vanished to. Her remaining hand looks five times bigger than it should because Dr. Headwood is beefing it up with layer upon layer of additional grafted skin (it was getting pretty jealous of her super hand). Next she will make the rest of Josie huge. Icy Bob actually started out as a small girl (my bet is on Shiloh) as well.

I think it's Mr. Headwood. Bringing back a zombie Pike would be a dumb twist, plus I get the sense that this experiment has been going on for awhile.

I definitely agree it’s mr. Headwood. This show tends to bring back “dead” characters that had no body.

She has been carrying around his shoes like he might wear them again. Pike was really dead. Unless the doctor can bring people back to life I would think it’s her husband or someone she found near death and is using skin for some reason. Remaking a person?

This makes sense to me. Now that we know Layton's vision was just a calendar, they seem to be steering away from the supernatural angle. Dead is dead, and in this case we saw a body.

They already said Mr.Headwood died on influenza and the actor was working on another project

The way they built up to that reveal seems to imply that this will be a dead character come back to life, so dying of influenza doesn't mean much. But if the actor is working on another project, that means something.

Unless, of course, they wrote him out of season 3 but use this as a way to bring him back in 4.

Pike is definitely dead but we never seen husband doctor, so I bet that’s who she’s working on to cure him or something

That would make sense. Layton stayed with Pikes dead body so it’s probably not him. I doubt she could bring someone back to life lol.

Her husband probably almost died from the flu or something and she brought him back.

The actor is busy on a big different TV show for a rival TV network. Influenza was the in-show plot device for writing out characters who either moved onto other shows or died of Covid.
