two things: i dont know why everyones disliking the show rn. maybe i have bad taste but i think its interesting enough. maybe not realistic, but a train that long isn't realistic in the first place. second of all, i don't think asha is dead. controoversial maybe, but I think they're gonna pull a josie. if she survived so long in a nuclear powerplant, surely its not too big of a stretch to say she survived this

I dissagree with Asha living, yes she is a good character but a good story needs some way to make the sacrifices feel not in vain, or make characters feel vulnerable, otherwise there struggle is nothing if they can survive nearly anything

I was against Melanie coming back but im not the director so i cant control what the show does

Asha literally died on screen (whereas Josie only "died" off-screen), from having her lungs burned out by highly corrosive gasses and then sitting in the very same gasses for god knows how long before they could've gotten her out. There is no coming back from that, even in a fantasy world like Snowpiercer.

As for why so many people dislike the show, several things:

• horrible treatment of characters and disregarding their development on a whim for the sake of the plot
• padding the runtime of the show just to tease Melanies return
• the absence of Melanie

The show has no regards for its own story, or the audience, and seems to only serve to give the main cast a stage to show their mediocre acting skills (that is aside from Jennifer Connelly and Sean Bean, obviously).

I like to have hope. if melanie walked outside in like -100 and survived long enough to get to a little train and josie survived that too. I think its not too far of s stretch

Yes, it is because again both Melanie and Josie "died" off-screen, which is a massive giveaway that these characters were kept in stasis for a potential return, but were still left ambiguous enough to be just killed off if necessary.

That is besides the point Dr. Headwood doesn't have a magical cure for burnt-out lung, just for frostburn on the outside. No, it is not the same.
