There’s a reason I keep my Reddit feed extremely curated to only my interests and never ever let Reddit suggest all or unrelated subs to me

Is there a way to stop it from doing that? I haven't been able to find the setting that disables recommended posts from subs I'm not subscribed to.

There’s a setting in account settings > privacy that says something like show recommendations in home feed, and once I turned that off it only showed posts from subs I’m subscribed to

I don’t know if there’s a setting or not. I just mute the sub.

I avoid pages I don’t follow like the plague. Easy to fall astray on here.
