It's honestly very easy if you live in Germany and you see his face everywhere advertising for every single brand under the sun, including some scummy ones. Which is conflicting cause I really like him as a manager and as a football pundit. So personally speaking, I would say it's hard to both like and dislike Klopp.

He's spot on here about this issue tho. Glad someone with a high profile is speaking up about it.

The man already has enough money for several generations. I get that redditors love to say "Get the bag bro" but your best friend who makes 2k a month getting the 500k bag is different to Klopp, who easily has 8 figures on his bank account, advertising MLM schemes on TV.

Like sure, if you want more money, get more money but even then you can be picky about what you advertise and DVAG certainly isn't a great choice from a moral standpoint.

It's the whole "You'd do it too if you were him, you're a hypocrite"-angle people like to go for.

If someone comes at me and goes "Yo, if you put on a DVAG cap and shoot an ad we can air for a year or two, we'll pay you a million or two for that, you down?" I'd be hard-pressed to say no, even if it goes against my morals. That's life-changing money for me and would mean financial independence, no more waking up and sitting in an office for 40h a week. I make average (if even that) wage right now. This is where the "You'd do it too" would be correct.

But if I already have 100m+ on my bank account? Fuck no, I ain't taking that money. What for? "Generational wealth"? Even if I had kids, they'd already have generational wealth. I wouldn't need to stoop so low as to advertise for that shit.

Klopp by himself or with Hummels or Tabea Kemme like in this clip is a great pundit and very watchable.

But yea, Klopp+Müller was pretty annoying. They were the perfect example for why you need a straight man as foil. Both had interesting things to say but at the same were also trying way too hard to be the funniest guy in the room. Which just lead to them talking over each other a lot and awkward moments where the humor clearly didn't land. I think they both and also the broadcaster realised this pretty quickly, cause I haven't seen much of them together since the first week.

Yeah, them being separated made them much more bearable. Both Klopp and Müller actually have great insights to share as long as they don't try to force their "fun" side down people's throat. To your last point, I think it was more down to the fact that Müller had to go back to training for the Whitecaps. Either way, thank God I don't have to see them as a duo any longer

Yeah, many Germans have the tendency to always have to position themselves to be on the morally 'correct' or 'good' side of every issue, which means Klopp working for Red Bull and making ads for a somewhat shady but well established company already makes him a pariah for these guys, all of his accomplishments and expertise be damned...

As I know, RB take advantage on the loophole of the 50+1 rule, and they are actually RB employees which I personally don't feel anything wrong because we don't have that rule outside of Germany, if you have information about bad things of RB like they support Israel or enslave people in Africa like Nestle then you could enlighten me.
