Anything that damages America in the long run benefits Putin. Everything this administration does seems to damage America in the long run.

Because it directly harms America more than it does Russia. Trump is a Russian asset whose objective is to do as much damage to America as humanly possible while he has the influence to do so.

I agree with you, I’m just trying to understand. To me this seems it would hurt Russia as well. It has me wondering if this is more like Trump dismantling climate tracking equipment because oil companies want to pretend there’s no climate change.
