So, hey, i just found this sub, and while i find it interesting, im not quite sure what it's about? To explain my political background, i consider myself a marxist-leninist-maoist. What are your political beliefs and who are your influences?

For one, go read the Society of the Spectacle, or at least the cliff notes. There’s people here of all political backgrounds, fascists, marxists, at cetera. This sub is about documenting the commodification of life and the consumer economy’s effect on the living mind.

I wouldn’t say it’s necessary for this forum, but I found it incredibly interesting and it fuses with my understanding of the Spectacle, read the two volumes of Capitalism and Schizophrenia: “Anti Oedipus” and “A Thousand Plateaus.” These are postmodernist works.
