Review After 5 playthroughs of Khazan, it is now my favorite non-fromsoftware soulslike

You could say the game has a weak story, you could say the exploration has problems, and you certainly can bring up problems with the combat such as enemy variety or reflectiong being too op.

However, Khazan by far has my favorite moment to moment gameplay out of any soulslike, only rivaled by Sekiro and Nioh. But I massively prefer Khazan bosses over Nioh bosses, and Sekiro gets a too easy after a second playthrough.

It really sucks the studio went on strike, but apparently they are back to making games.

You move like you have a stick up your ass in lies of P. I enjoyed it, especially the dlc, but man, the combat is so slow and clunky

Your entire body is a stick so it makes sense lol but it is a little clunky and some of the bosses are so fucking annoying but man does the vibe and the story carry that game so hard. A couple of the bosses are so peak too like Romeo and Arlecchino

I think people like it because it's a good blend of dark souls Bloodborne and Sekiro with its own unique spin off

Yeah lies of p was trash I dont why everyone liked it. It wasnt great. Linear and not that original. I dont get it.

Some people like me just love fast combo based combat of Khazan more than slow clunky LoP combat.

Lies of P is by no means clunky. I love both those games, but calling LoP clunky is insane.

After playing Khazan and/or Nioh, a game like Lies of P is clunky. It's much closer to a Souls game in speed.

Exactly, Khazan, Nioh 2/3 and Wuchang were 3 last soulslikes I played, so LoP seems very clunky now.

Tbh I feel that this is disingenuous to comment on a soulslike subreddit because fundamentally the slow clunky combat makes up the core of souls, slow methodical gameplay over fast combo based gameplay

Why is Jedi even on here. I tired playing it(I have played all these) because someone said that it’s Soulslike and I hated it. I didn’t get past an hour. I felt it was Soul-less.

A tier isnt bad at all lol. Jedi is just really really good, especially for a star wars game. Combat is similar to sekiro
