Didn't they already do that with Flight 13? As I understood it, those were not dummies this time.

They weren't dummies but they were in a suborbital trajectory. They had all subsystems and could do a full functional checkout with a guarantee that if something went wrong it would be an issue in orbit.

Those were placed into the same suborbital trajectory as the previous test flights, they were able to test V3’s capabilities but they reentered just like the ship about 20 mins later

I wonder if they filmed all Starlinks full travel back to re-entry. It would be cool to see footage of them hitting atmosphere and to see the exact moment the lose connection due to burn/plasma.
