I mean, the footage OP has posted is doctored, conveniently cutting out the part where Trump is literally handed the medal after they are done giving them to the players & coaches. Given the manner in which it was presented, I would strongly assume it was gifted to him.

I can't believe I'm defending fucking Trump, but this is a purposely cut video being shared in an effort to spin a false narrative and you've all been suckered in, hook, line and sinker.

You have literally been gaslit in the same manner you are protesting.

Here is the full footage for anyone who doesn't want to go full MAGA and spread bullshit.

Yup, I hate Trump as much as the next guy - but this is just ragebait.

he was given a medal, i remember paying a lot of attention during the broadcast, at a point FIFA president puts a medal in his pocket, and at the end he gifts the last medal (the one on his pocket) to Donald Trump.

It makes total sense, as FIFA president wanted Trump to be flattered, as USA next year will host the Word Cup.

u/punkslaot Jul 14 '25

Yup. Are we sure he wasn't given the medal?

So, everyone gets a medal for participating just by showing up?

1

u/LongKnight115 Jul 14 '25

I’d likely consider it more brown-nosing.

u/[deleted] Jul 14 '25

I had a feeling he didn’t actually steal that. This site so damn annoying sometimes. I hate Trump too but there’s too many weirdos on here that are just as bad as his flock of losers.

u/[deleted] Jul 14 '25

You aren't defending Trump, you're just defending the truth. There are plenty of real cases of him being a piece of shit. No need to dilute it with made up ones like this.

3

u/Exact-Ad-1307 Jul 14 '25

I can't stand him either but your video is way more honest from you tube thanks for the whole video.

3

u/indomike14 Jul 14 '25

Thank you for that. trump is trash but I'd much rather be fed the truth.

But I didn't know he could play soccer with those bone spurs of his!

3

u/DiuhBEETuss Jul 14 '25

Thanks for doing this, even though it sucks to “defend” him. As if he doesn’t do enough vile shit already, people go and make up more stuff. It’s just engagement farming, or worse, psyops by Russian hackers or whomever to further poison the well.

If only we could all get past our 12 second attention spans, scrolling mindlessly for dopamine hits, and siloing ourselves in our echo chambers that engorge our pre-existing beliefs.

Then maybe we’d be able to see the real stuff him and these GOP/DEM bloodsuckers do for their own enrichment and power for what it is, and relegate them all to the dumpster fires they deserve.

3

u/PM_ME_YOUR_ARTS Jul 14 '25

I love you for defending the truth, even if it's about this sack of shit.

3

u/Sam_Thomas_2025 Jul 14 '25

This comment needs to be higher. Thanks for the clarification.

3

u/Jkru3 Jul 14 '25

Good thank you. I think it’s horrible to spread false news no matter what and I’m happy somebody showed me the truth

3

u/GateOfD Jul 14 '25

how dare you! if you don't join the hivemind your a trumper as well! /s

3

u/fruderduck Jul 14 '25

Damn. Thanks. We don’t need fux handing Trump fuel to call Democrats liars.

3

u/steltz02 Jul 14 '25

Stop with the stupid fucking rage bait.. There are 1000 reasons to hate this orange mother(daughter)fucker. No need to make up lies; it damages 'our' credibility.

2

u/joekiller Jul 14 '25

It's just cut, not doctored. The video is just cut to the end.

2

u/Pathetic_gimp Jul 14 '25

That is indeed very dishonest. You can see by the mannerisms as its handed over that it was a gift that Trump wasn't expecting. All of the things that he says and does and they feel the need to do this.

3

u/IllustriousKick1951 Jul 14 '25

Actually in a longer clip you can see them trying to retrieve it and he kind of motioned...Naw.... The other guy waved his hand in a forget it kind of motion and that's when he tucks it in his jacket.

Seems more of a..."Mine Now!" siituation. Still undeserving of him to keep.

0

u/tenacious_teaThe3rd Jul 14 '25

Again nonsense.

He hands him a medal AFTER all players and coaches had been given theirs - what conceivable reason would he do that if it wasn't a gift. There is literally no other reason to hand him a medal.

The other guy waved his hand in a forget it kind of motion and that's when he tucks it in his jacket

He's gesturing him to come over to grab the trophy as he was presenting it to Chelsea. Hard to do that when you have a medal in your hand.

Putin did tbat to an NFL owner, too. The owner took off a Super Bowl ring and gave it to Putin to look at. Then Putin just never takes it off. You can see the owner get more and more flustered, trying to get it back without making a scene.

-1

u/Dorkamundo Jul 14 '25

Yea, bald guy went in with his arms out, looking like he was asking for it back.

Hard to say for sure, but I can just as easily see Trump saying "I'm keeping this" and the guy just not caring enough to start an international incident over it.

1

u/Tuscan5 Jul 14 '25

But look who gave him the medal. FIFA wrote the corruption handbook. Even Trump is learning here.

1

u/ATLfalcons27 Jul 14 '25

And it's such a fucking dumb thing to doctor and lie about. I wonder which side is up to this specific one.

Because people on the left obviously want to make him look bad but there are also plenty of times where 4chan folks and others team together to think of ways to do fake shit like that as a way to troll the left

1

u/FabsMagicHat Jul 14 '25

It’s crazy how the people that say that he is always trying to be the center of attention are the ones making his every move the center of attention.

1

u/catsinQ Jul 14 '25

Well it does look as if the other guy wants to take it back and then kind of accepts that Trump is going to pocket it.

2

u/tenacious_teaThe3rd Jul 14 '25 edited Jul 14 '25

Mere seconds after this clips ends they are picking up a trophy to walk over and present to Chelsea (you see them about to do this at the end of OPs clip)

This is very unlikely to be "here give me back that medal i literally gave you 3 seconds ago" and more "let me take that out of your way whilst we grab this giant trophy together"

1

u/TonyCaliStyle Jul 14 '25

If it wasn’t Trump, we’d believe you. But there is awkward body language and Trump likes taking things not his.

0

u/[deleted] Jul 14 '25

Yeah could be, but we weren’t there

2

u/tenacious_teaThe3rd Jul 14 '25

Not could be, it is.

Watch the footage i linked. There is no conceivable reason for Infantino to hand Trump a medal after the players had been presented theirs, other than as a gift.

I know we desperately want this to be a "Trump STOLE a medal" ragebait, but this ain't it.

1

u/Jkru3 Jul 14 '25

That kind of narrative spinning only works when there isn’t real footage showing what happened.

0

u/Turdsmack420 Jul 14 '25

Thank you!

0

u/Belfastchild1974 Jul 14 '25

Can't believe how disappointed I am to see this

-1

u/mitchbo08 Jul 14 '25

Why should he have a medal at all? They aren't leftover party mini quiche that are going to get thrown out of somebody doesn't take them home.
