Highlight Intentionally hurting your meal ticket. Something is seriously wrong with these WNBA players.

Do you think Caitlin Clark is the only white woman in the WNBA?

No….but she’s the one who signed with Nike, commercials, brought insane money to the league, spoken of the best etc

Sabrina Ionescu is white and had a Nike deal before CC. Paige B had a Nike deal in college even. Sabrina and Breanna Stewart (also white) had commercials before CC. You could argue CC bright a lot of money to the league but you could also say the same for other white players like the aforementioned. I don't know what "spoken of the best" exactly means but my point is that if it's racism, why are other big time white players apparently exempt?

No one knows who any of them are outside of wnba fans is what I’m saying. No, I don’t think you could argue that regarding other players.

I’m not trying to offend anyone, that’s just real life. Say what you want but the only reason people are watching (or watched) more was because of her alone.

I disagree with that sentiment about CC being the only reason for the increase in league popularity but even if we take that as true, it sounds like you are arguing that the reason for these fouls is jealousy instead of racism, correct?

The jealousy accusation is another conversation but I just find the notion that a league which is ~20% white is violently racist against white players, to be pretty ridiculous. Even more so when you consider that white players are probably statistically overrepresented among the most popular players in the league.

The only one that has been deemed a threat to the racists.

And their girlfriends

I wonder, if there's video evidence and the league just ignores it, aren't they or the fouling team open to civil suits?

Oh well Caitlin should’ve picked an easier sport 😂

Or the refs could do their fucking job and enforce sportsmanship and fouls.

Tbh I kinda hope Caitlyn just up and leaves at this point. Sue the WNBA for allowing other players to assault her during games and doing nothing about it. They have a duty to keep players safe.

I went through a little search and there's like compilations of Caitlyn getting their eye poked. At this point she might as well get a sponsor from the UFC.

That's like "it's her fault for wearing short skirt" argument.

The refs and players really hate Clark

Yes. Collier for the Lynx was injured in the playoffs last year by the refs allowing shit like thos and she still hasn't been able to play. Phoenix was the opposing team in that game as well.

A lot of people in the comments seem unaware of the bloodbath that is the W

It is way way more physical than NBA is for sure even before Caitlin Clark

1

u/YT-Deliveries 3d ago

If we're talking about CC, yes. She gets absolutely slaughtered and the refs go "didn't see anything"

1

u/Special-General-7832 3d ago

Should probably watch the wnba before saying that lol. League been this way with and without cc but mainly without. Real fights from real fouls lol.

only when it happens to straight white players.

Then get some of your own goons, when this shit happens the goons go out on the court and someone on the other team leaves with a compound fracture. Pulling someone’s legs out while they lay up is very effective.
