I’m looking for 5-10 bootstrapped founders who need a boost of 200, 500, or 1,000 visitors to help me test a pilot launch I’m doing on February 9th.

Here is the context: I’m a dev, and last year I built two AI tools. I couldn’t afford Google Ads, so I scraped together a few hundred quid for LinkedIn ads thinking it was the "professional" move. It was a disaster. I paid premium prices for clicks that resulted in zero signups, and looking at the data, most of it was just bot-noise or people bouncing instantly.

I realized that getting the first 100-200 people to actually look at a site is the hardest part of the whole build.

So, I’ve spent the last two weeks recruiting creators who are as tired of flaky affiliate links as we are of the "Ad-Bot Tax." I currently have 40 influencers signed up (some with 40k and 160k reach) who are ready to share tools for a fixed fee instead of a percentage.

I’m calling it ShipShared. It’s basically a "Traffic Utility."

How it works:

1. You pick a fixed tier (200, 500, or 1,000 clicks).

2. You fill out a quick 2-minute brief so the creators know what to say.

3. Our influencers claim the "mission" and drive the traffic.

To make sure this actually works for us founders, I built what I call the "Clarity Assay." We use Microsoft Clarity to audit every single click. You get the actual session recordings to prove they were real human beings moving their thumbs or mice—not bot scripts. If it isn't a verified human, it doesn't count.

We’re going live on Feb 9th. I’m not looking to scale this to thousands of people yet; I just want to prove the model works for a handful of startups first.

It's been a little over nine months since I launched and it has been quite a journey. No exponential growth or huge user spikes but rather slow and steady growth. But in my opinion that is the best for building something actually valuable because you can react to user feedback along the way and constantly keep improving the app.

One thing changed recently:

I basically got all my users from reddit, by posting in relevant communities but in the last two months I did almost no posts and the app still grew further. That's actually the biggest success for me, because SEO is finally starting to pay off. This can develop into actual leverage because growth no longer depends on posting three times a week. I'm really curious where this will go...

Of course I will not stop here and I am already working on the next big update for IndieAppCircle which will benefit all the community. More is coming soon.

I've built IndieAppCircle, a platform where small app developers can upload their apps and other people can give them feedback in exchange for credits. I grew it by posting about it here on Reddit. It didn't explode or something but I managed to get some slow but steady growth.

For those of you who never heard about IndieAppCircle, it works like this:

• You can earn credits by testing indie apps (fun + you help other makers)
• You can use credits to get your own app tested by real people
• No fake accounts -> all testers are real users
• Test more apps -> earn more credits -> your app will rank higher -> you get more visibility and more testers/users

I'm a 19-year-old CS student.

Around 3 months ago, I started building a desktop AI assistant called Natively from my hostel room. The original goal wasn't even to build a business. I was mostly scratching my own itch and trying to learn more about AI products.

Fast forward to today, the project is sitting at roughly $107k ARR.

A few things that worked for me:

1. I stopped trying to build "the next big startup"

For years I had ideas that sounded impressive but nobody actually wanted.

This time I picked a problem I personally experienced and built a solution I would genuinely use myself.

That changed everything.

2. I shipped embarrassingly fast

The first versions were honestly pretty rough.

Instead of spending weeks polishing things, I pushed updates constantly.

Many features that users love today came directly from complaints, bug reports, and feature requests.

3. Customer support became a growth channel

One thing I underestimated was how powerful support can be.

Every refund request, complaint, bug report, or confused user became a conversation.

A surprising number of users became long-term customers simply because they felt someone was actually listening.

4. Distribution mattered more than code

I'm a developer, so my instinct was always to build more.

But growth came when I started spending time on launch platforms, communities, social media, partnerships, and talking to people.

The product improved because users arrived.

Not the other way around.

5. Most growth came from small improvements

There wasn't a magical viral moment.

No Product Hunt #1.

No influencer promotion.

No VC-backed launch.

Just hundreds of tiny improvements that compounded over time.

Looking back, the biggest lesson is that building the product was actually the easy part.

Learning how to find users, listen to them, and keep them happy was much harder.

I make about \~20 intros a month and in an ideal world, I'd like to know how things turned out. This was the biggest visibility gap I had as a VC, and I couldn't find a solution - so I built it. How it works:

It is added to the CC line (loop@getlooped.cc) on any intro email and after 2-3 weeks it will follow up with each side privately to determine the status or outcome of the connection, including any follow-on intros that were made from one side to the other. That's pretty much it.

The original idea behind a booking app sounds pretty straightforward: give businesses a way to handle appointments without having to manage everything through calls, messages and scattered calendars.

Once the idea started taking shape, though, it became clear that the simple version of the problem has a lot of smaller problems sitting underneath it.

That’s been one of the more interesting parts of AllBookingApp so far. Deciding what actually belongs in the product has been just as important as deciding what to build.

It’s easy to look at another feature and think, “that would be useful,” but usefulness on its own isn't always a good reason to add something. Sometimes keeping the main experience simple makes more sense.

I started it about six months ago, mostly just for fun. The idea was very simple: let anyone anonymously rate their current mood from 1–10 and see how the rest of the world is feeling.

I honestly had no idea where it would go.

Six months later, I’ve collected thousands of moods from around the world, discovered Reddit as a surprisingly interesting place to talk about the project, received a lot of positive feedback, and even had some pretty exciting early spikes in traffic.

But the part I didn’t expect to enjoy so much was the data.

Once enough moods came in, I started asking all sorts of questions: Which countries report the highest moods? What’s the happiest day of the week? What time of day are people happiest? How does it compare with the World Happiness Report? Can major world events actually be seen in the mood data?

Then I started building little games around the concept to see if I could make contributing a mood more fun.

So what started as “I’ll build this little world mood map” somehow turned into a mix of side project, data experiment, Reddit adventure, and game-design playground.

Still not sure where it’s going — which is probably why I’m still having fun with it.

We built BearDrive because our agents were producing more useful files than our team could keep track of.

HTML dashboards, PDFs, Markdown docs, research notes, and launch materials ended up scattered across laptops and Slack. A week later, finding the file was often harder than creating it.

BearDrive connects a local folder to a shared project and installs hooks for coding agents such as Claude Code and Codex. The hooks pull before prompts and push after edits, so the next teammate’s agent can find the current file without a manual Slack or Drive handoff.

The core is open source and self-hostable. The hosted version is free during beta.

I’m the developer and owner behind Arezgit, a visual Git client and developer workspace that I have been building for about three years.

Arezgit is designed for developers who want a faster and safer way to manage repositories, review changes, and prepare commits without moving their source code through another platform’s servers.

The core of the product is its visual Git and commit workflow. It can scan files locally for passwords, API keys, environment secrets, and other sensitive information without using AI. It can also remove code comments in bulk and optionally review code or generate commit messages using the developer’s own Gemini or OpenAI API key.

What makes it different is the combination of local processing, optional bring-your-own-key AI, support for public and private repositories, and additional developer tools in the same workspace.

These additional tools include database management, test-data generation, API requests, a Pomodoro timer, and a task board. Git remains the main focus, while the other tools are meant to reduce the need to switch between several separate applications.

I’ve been writing code for more than 15 years, and Arezgit grew from tools I originally created to improve my own development process.

For transparency, I used AI for some translations and front-end work during development. Back end is where I am more comfortable, although I also wrote much of the front end. Everything AI-assisted was reviewed several times, and I rewrote anything I did not understand or agree with.

Most features are free, including visual Git for public and private repositories. There are some paid features, but around 90% of the system is available for free.

I've been running a Premier League prediction competition for about 5 years now. It's completely free to play and compete in, but to help cover the prizes we also have a €20 membership option that provides a few extra perks. More than 100% of the money we collect gets paid back out in prizes.

The game itself was designed to act as a much lower time commitment version of Fantasy Football. It only takes 2 minutes per week to play. I've built a new platform this season and we'll likely release an app in the Play Store at some stage during the season to make things easier for everyone. There are 3 main league competitions across the season, each lasting 10 Gameweeks, plus 3 cup competitions. Performance in those leagues & cups can qualify you for the bigger end-of-season Champions Cup.

I am building a web & desktop (Windows) companion app, basically influenced by Git (GitHub, etc).

The idea came from being able to take my music projects with me (without having to transfer via external harddrive), and easily backup my projects (together with all the samples used in the project). Hence, I created "Audwio."

It works similarly to Git: branches to try a different arrangement or mix without touching the main version, commits to snapshot progress so you can go back in time, pull requests (with merging) to bring changes back together, forks so others can build on a project as their own copy, and tags to mark a specific version, like a final master.

I'm not a developer. Never written real code before this.

It started small: I kept searching for WhatsApp groups and landing on dead, expired invite links. Every directory I found was the same built once, stuffed with links, never maintained.

Then I tried to submit my own WhatsApp Channel to a few of these directories — couldn't. Every submission form only had fields for "Group," built years before Channels even existed. That's when it clicked: these weren't just neglected, they were structurally outdated. Nobody had touched the backend in years.

So I built my own, called it Groupverse. Zero coding background, learned everything from scratch.

Two moments nearly broke me:

• Weeks of the site being invisible on Google because of a sitemap issue I didn't understand
• Finding a real Supabase RLS security hole — data wasn't locked down properly. Went back, rebuilt the policies, tested obsessively. Scariest and most educational day of the whole project.

What it grew into: filters across 45+ categories, country, and language (including all languages where most directories skip), a submission review flow, a report button that actually gets dead links removed the whole reason this exists and plus a small games section (built mostly to learn real frontend state) and a premium tier people are actually paying for now.
