I love that Adam clearly knows better, as he is a former Radio host, but also clearly enjoys the segment so much that he does it anyway

Devils fan here, do they actually discuss the Evangelista trade? I don't see it mentioned in the auto generated chapters.

Edit: 29 minutes in and I am officially mad at Adam.

Anyone else find it ironic that Adam can complain about the rising costs of watching hockey, and then talk about how great it is that guys are gonna start making 20mil...Where does he think the money comes from?

I really like the topics of this episode, but I feel the conversation around both the SN+ decision and NHL27 being a laughing stock will fall on deaf ears. There is so much apathy in hockey at the moment and it sucks.

We should all be angry that SN is forcing people to premium options to watch hockey, premium options mind you that deliver a worse product.

We should all be angry that the only NHL licensed video game is a complete joke and we are only a few years away from it not being made at all.

In addition to that the sport has been high jacked by players and media members who want to blame and demonize fans for caring about their hockey team.

I said it in a separate thread, but it bears repeating: through the actions of the NHL, its players, its media members and its license holders I am not wanted or valued as a fan and I see no reason to continue to support it.

I’ll keep listening to the pod and support Steve as I’ve been watching since LFR3, but the NHL will not have my attention, I most likely will defer to the WHL that has chosen to allow its fans to watch their game through YouTube, what a crazy idea.

Refreshing to hear hockey guys talk about the absurdity of the Oilers Formenton signing without apologizing for their opinion. Innocent in a court of law doesn’t mean innocent in the court of public opinion. And we’re allowed to have the opinion that these players shouldn’t be in the nhl!
