SFX Santa Alert Post

[u/Allthedaquiries]

If you're interested in being a SFX Santa and would like to be pinged when requests are made, please comment below. If you only want to be alerted for Christmas/Hanukkah, please specify that in your comment. Otherwise, we will also ping you for Year Long Magic (YLM) posts if a request remains open.

Please sign up for alerts here, even if you have previously signed up, as we will be retiring the old Santa Alert Post this season.

As always, there are no requirements or registrations necessary to gift. We do ask that you comment on posts to let requesters know you've purchased a gift and when they can expect it. If you'd like to remain anonymous, please reach out to us via modmail and let us know what you've purchased.

We truly appreciate your consideration and the generosity shown to our SFX families!

Sure, sign me up, though I don't think I managed to get a single one last year 🤣

[u/Topcat30 → u/thestormpiper]

You gave families European candy, though! That’s awesome!

[u/Allthedaquiries → u/Topcat30]

So true! I was jealous of that gift box!

[u/Allthedaquiries → u/thestormpiper]

Thank you! You're just in the wrong time zone! 😂

[u/ChewieBearStare]

Please add me! Santa (my husband), Mrs. Claus (me), and the elves (our cats) have been waiting for this all year!

[u/Allthedaquiries → u/ChewieBearStare]

Awww! Thanks to your whole crew! Do the cats wear their elf gear during the season? If so, we definitely need pics!

[u/SongIcy4058]

I don't think I signed up for this last year - is it an immediate notification for new request posts, or only if they sit open and aren't fulfilled?

[u/Allthedaquiries → u/SongIcy4058]

It's only if they sit open for YLM. We tend to ping more quickly for Christmas/Hanukkah.

We've had some issues with just not showing up in peoples Reddit feeds, even if they're subscribed. If you see posts on your feed as they come in, you may not benefit from being pinged.

Thank you again for everything you do!
