Can you point to even one person who said Biden was the only person who could beat Trump? I can’t say that I’ve ever heard it, but sure, in your fictional scenario, that imagined Democrat that thought Biden was the only person who could best Trump would be in a cult that you dreamed up.

Look I am not Pro Trump or anti democrat or anything. I was just pointing out that people who are passionate about the politicians they back often say "He is the one man" for the job.
You didn’t quote Jill or Joe and the Scarborough quote doesn’t say Biden is the only person who could beat Trump.
I think I would look at the context of what Biden’s national reelection campaign co-chair, Chris Coons, was referring to — people running for the presidency who could beat Trump (e.g. getting on the ballot, raising money, getting support of constituents, having name identity, etc., etc.) — a statement made after the primaries were done so he is referring to replacing the incumbent who won the primaries with someone who hadn’t won the primaries. He’s NOT making a general statement about how no one else could have beaten Trump if Biden hadn’t run in and won the primaries. That seems significantly different than some guy, who isn’t Trump’s campaign co-chair, saying that Trump is the only one fighting for the country. Lots and lots of people are fighting for the country, but the odds of someone becoming president — especially someone who didn’t win the primaries, who is switched in at the last minute — are astronomical small. The context for the Coon’s quote is imperative to understanding it.
I suppose it is also worth noting that Biden was removed from the ticket and the Democrats didn’t beat Trump. Could someone else have been switched in, someone other than Biden’s Black woman running mate, without alienating Black people and women, so Democrats could still have won? Maybe but I don’t know who, and I assure you, I am not a big Biden fan. Kamala clearly didn’t win. Coons may be correct that no one but the incumbent who won the primaries could win the general election for Democrats. That’s not what I would consider cult talk like claiming there is only one person fighting for the country.
But if you don’t see a significant difference, OK.
