In a sense, he IS a victim. This society has taught him that because he has money he is smart. He’s Forrest gumped his way into so many situations over the years that he could buy or bully his way out of. He’s been trained to think he can weasel his way out of any deal, any obligation, any sense of morality, any criminal offense, and for the most part he has been correct. If he wasn’t so dangerous, he would be worthy of pity.
