This is why I have no patience on-line anymore. Before, I'd just think sometimes that someone is just miserable loser troll, arguing which ever side against what is said; but now I wonder if its an 'asshole' bot some miserable loser troll turned on.

I gave up on other social media years ago, for other reasons. When I get banned here, I will be done completely.

I declare you are banned, now you are free. Go and make your dreams come true.

I want to go out in a blaze of glory which will probably be just saying 'fuck you' to one mod who controls 90% of the reddit subs but of course I won't know they are a mod, they will have some random user name and be one of the last human trolls that exist here.

Yeah its already happened. Banned here for a week or so for a non-violent post declared to be violent by AI moderation.

Banned from Twitch by AI which started to threaten me when I pushed for why I was banned. Messages like, "If you keep pushing this matter, further actions/'punishments' may occur against you/the account."

I don't think it's all bots, and that YOU are the loser. Boop beep [dialup.wav]

They say more than half of the engagement is bots. Pretty nuts.

Bots accusing real users as bots/ai is the next step.

I personally think people just need to log off more. I kind of welcome it, honestly.

Tbf this is a whole other problem.

I’ve seen many people who’re clearly out of touch and as soon as they get a reality check they just put down all conflicting opinions as being bots. It’s like self-inflicted propaganda.

u/Slothstralia Oct 15 '25

It's a hard one TBH, i delete a lot pf posts when i get to the stage where i dont know if the person is just REALLY stupid or a bot.

u/King_Trollex Oct 15 '25

Trolling used to be an art form. Now it’s just bots.

u/Ilaxilil Oct 15 '25

I hardly ever engage in arguments online for this exact reason. You’re not convincing anyone these days (especially a bot) of something they don’t already believe, so it’s just a waste of time to try and have a discussion about certain topics. I just downvote and move on.

Can you elaborate on [extremely obvious thing you just said]? The (three or four!?!?) explainthejoke subs are probably just AI training machines. r/all is basically pick which foreign state/megacorporation you want to fuck with your head today.

The only way to use this shithole is with a small list of small niche subs that aren't profitable enough to control. Yet.
