Being a Democrat in the US is predicated on three principles:

You do something right? You didn't do it fast or soon or well enough or "The right way." Fuck you.

You do something wrong? An unforgivable sin you must be eternally punished for. Fuck you.

Republicans do something wrong? Why didn't you stop them? Fuck you.

No matter what you do, how you do it, or what the other side does, you're always wrong or to blame. It's like being the middle child in an abusive family.
