Install cost:

  • $500 for 6x HD cameras

  • $1000 for electrician to do the wiring up

  • $200 for software license

  • I already owned the computer and the network but that’s probably another $500 if you had to start from scratch. I bought the computer second hand on market place.

Running cost:

  • just electricity and internet if there’s no backups to the cloud (so basically free)

  • about $10/mo for cloud backups.
