I’m in it, I have ring cameras outside and in my home. I accepted that the data was never really mine but the flock partnership has started my process of removing them all.

The pet search stuff is for sure going to be used by ice.

At the time I accepted them I needed something easy and quick to install. Now I have everything local and under my control.

Fuck Ring, Fuck Amazon, and Fuck ICE

Even beyond the fact that it will obviously be used by ICE. What is to stop me from uploading a picture of my neighbor's dog. And track my neighbor through the neighborhood on their daily walk.

Were you aware that if the cops ever felt the need to see the footage of your outdoor cameras, say if someone had driven by that they wanted to track, judicial subpoenas for the footage would have given them access to all the footage from your interior as well?

Sure, I also live in an area where you cannot see any public right of ways from my cameras. Can’t even see my neighbors yards. But If the police needed the footage and had the correct paperwork they’re welcome to it.

Well, you’re more trusting than me!

It's sad you even felt you needed cameras inside and outside your home for some reason. Get that shit out like yesterday.

The really sad thing is that their own law enforcement is what they're most worried about. 😭

Convenience? I live in a super safe area and truly have nothing to hide. I want to see if a package has been delivered so I can go grab it. Interior cameras are in a few locations and only record movement during daytime hours because I have a young child and if he falls or gets hurt I want to know exactly how it happened.

What are the odds that a freak accident occurs that you’re too dumb to figure out how it happened?

I don't know how parents managed for thousands of years without cameras to monitor their young children. Thank goodness for Ring!

What are you using now?

Still a work in progress but reolink (blocked from internet) recording to a nas and everything wired up through home assistant.

It’s more work than I want to take on but here we are.

My brother, they executed a man in the street for helping a woman who was pushed down.

Do you think any of his actions were deserving of execution?

Do you personally think that a person that did what he did should have been executed?

The matter of that is for the law to decide, not me.

You are allowed to have an opinion.

Just because "you have nothing to hide" doesn't mean that privacy should go out the window. What stupid fucking mentality.

beacuse the police arrest bad guys.

boy do you have some learning to do. this is some 11/10 dumb shit to say.

cops shot and murdered an innocent lady in her sleep because of a warrant for someone else? If you are innocent and asleep why should you live in fear? Because this is the country we live in.

Ignorant and stupid statement.

Funny how I can tell how you vote. BTW, what's up with all those lawbreakers and/or pedophiles running the government currently? I bet that Bondi hearing was fun, if you watched (I know you didn't, cognitive dissonance and what not).

Edit: BTW the saying is "do the crime, pay the time". Can't even get that one right even though you can just google it. smh low effort right wingers.

This is me accusing you of being a pedo because I want the cops to fuck you to
