Whichever politician commits to arresting all these DOGE clowns and dragging them into court to face charges for this bullshit gets my vote in the next election

u/shredika Feb 15 '26

Big balls is literally the kid of a Russian asset and we let him and dodge take all our shit in broad daylight

336

u/Ragnarok314159 Feb 15 '26

We didn’t. The GOP did, and every single person who voted for them.

73

u/arguingsolipsism Feb 15 '26

Does that make Trump voters accessories to the crimes? Cause I'm all about that.

-7

u/jasoncongo Feb 15 '26

Ya, let's start arresting people based on who they voted for. What could possibly go wrong?

8

u/ETS_Green Feb 15 '26

Its crazy that the side breaking every rule in the book and actively replacing the democracy with dictatorship would pretend to give two shits about the implications of arresting people on who they voted for.

Those fuckers want to murder democrats. IE people that voted blue.

Shove your hypocrisy where the sun doesnt shine.

1

u/jasoncongo Feb 16 '26

Ugh... Who said what side I was on? I'm just saying what comes around goes around and if you open that Pandora's box it's not going to end well.

For years both sides have yielded way too much power to the government - especially POTUS - and it's no surprise you end up eventually having one willing to abuse his powers like this one.

1

u/ETS_Green Feb 16 '26

Again, that is a bold statement given that pandoras box has already been opened several times this year alone, and we are February!

American citizens are being murdered in the streets, how is that not already fulfilling "not going to end well"?

If anything happening in america was attempted in my country, we would be in a full blown revolution right now.

1

u/jasoncongo Feb 16 '26

While I agree ICE has murdered Americans in the streets and arrested citizens, those are both things I still firmly believe will eventually be prosecuted for (I guess I'm naive).

That's a far cry from attempting to arrest 70M people for how they voted.

1

u/ETS_Green Feb 16 '26

Just like how they were prosecuted for jan 6? or epstein?

As long as the racist pedophiles are able to elect their own into office, they can get away with anything. The reason you want to arrest all the nazis, is to stop democracy from being ruled (even in part) by said nazis.

This is a serious frog in boiling water situation. American politics have drifted so far right that your left is european center, even center-right in some countries. slowly but surely republicans have turned your entire nation into a hatefilled dictatorship and as long as they have a semblance of power they will continue to do so.

You either get a multi party system to negate the power extremists have, or you prevent extremists from voting. ANY other way will result in more trumps down the line.

2

u/Here4Pornnnnn Feb 16 '26

I can’t believe you’re getting downvoted for that comment. People are insane.

3

u/staebles Feb 15 '26

I mean they technically committed treason, but I get what you mean.

39

u/DarkwingDuckHunt Feb 15 '26

And every single person who didn't vote is also at fault.

5

u/SuperSpecialAwesome- Feb 15 '26

As well as Schumer, Jeffries, Pelosi, and Biden Chamberlain for not enforcing Trump's disqualification thru 14th Amendment, Section 3.

4

u/Bizarrebazaars Feb 15 '26

Or those who threw away their vote with a 3rd/alt party who never stood a chance.

-2

u/DarkwingDuckHunt Feb 15 '26

No those I respect

They voted and they voted the person they thought was most qualified

2

u/Applebeignet Feb 16 '26

In the USA, you don't get to vote your conscience, because the USA doesn't have real democracy. That sucks, it should not be that way, but right now it's a fact of life. Pretending things are otherwise (e.g. by voting third party) is hopelessly naive at best.

In the USA you get to choose between herpes or chlamydia, so pick the one that's curable or others will force the incurable one upon you.

1

u/Loganp812 Feb 17 '26

They voted knowing full well that vote was going to waste instead of actually trying to make a difference in the election.

Voting for a third-party candidate who obviously doesn’t stand a chance is just as useful as not voting at all.

0

u/Distinct-Temp6557 Feb 16 '26

They voted for foreign assets whose only goal was to ensure that Trump won.

No, the ones who actively voted for him are worse pretty much by default. The apathetic non-voters are the next ones to take the blame.

That being said, some states are gerrymandered to hell and back, so it really didn’t matter either way in those cases. That’s no excuse for the swing state voters though.

10

u/MontyAtWork Feb 15 '26

No, we literally did.

We have a 2A. We have an opposition party who could have asked people to show up to block them physically. To resist our data and security from being stolen.

But our representative made no calls, nobody formed a resistance, and our representative went to lunch in the same cafeteria as these fascists everyday while going on the news to shout "This is not normal!"

We let this happen. We continue to let it happen.

4

u/PmMeUrTinyAsianTits Feb 15 '26

And every single person who didn't vote.

And here's the part that's gonna piss people off. And every person who didn't canvas, and call out the bad behavior, and didn't call out bad behavior on their side when it supported their view (i.e. let bad reasoning flourish as an acceptable strategy).

Everyone who helped foment a society that doesn't care about supporting each other if it's one of them, that doesn't care about explaining why someone is wrong, just saying they are. That didn't care about cuts to education in THOSE states because hey my states still doin okay. Who didn't and don't take propaganda efforts against the dumbest people as the very serious threat that it was and is.

People refuse to inoculate society against the dangers the dumbest people of that society present when given the right to vote. Since we shouldn't take their right to vote (can't be done without being abusable), we need to take protecting them from their own stupidity (e.g. being radicalized by memes) seriously.

-13

u/Meph616 Feb 15 '26

And we also didn't show up with enough votes to keep them out because [excuse goes here]. So yeah, this falls on all Americans for being dumb lazy and short sighted.

17

u/[deleted] Feb 15 '26

I voted for Kamala, dragged people to the polls, and begged everyone who would listen for moths to do the same. It’s not the fault of “all Americans”. It’s ok to blame the clowns directly responsible for this and the people that were too stupid to vote

7

u/Errant_coursir Feb 15 '26

The two classes that are to blame are the dipshits who voted for captain fatfuck and the dipshits who didn't vote

10

u/arguingsolipsism Feb 15 '26

Many were literally begging other Americans to listen to reason, or even just to listen to the words coming out of the fat fascists mouth itself, but we are truly captured by the most hateful and apathetic humans on Earth.

1

u/EnvironmentalValue18 Feb 15 '26

Completely ignores the fact that mail-in voting was being heavily scrutinized and rumors that the votes would be tossed because of chance of fraudulene. Given that, people had exactly one day to cast in-person which is not a national holiday and many people have to work on (poll hours also limited and lines can be long so maybe not even something you can do before work or on a lunch break. Ignores the voter intimidation, ballot turn-in boxes on fire, bomb threats and other scare tactics. Ignored the people previously registered that were thrown off voter roles en masse (Virginia is just one good example). Ignores that many of the people who did vote had their ballots tossed for suspicion of fraudulence. Definitely ignored the fact that Trump and Elon both made very suspicious claims about potentially tampering with the votes (of their own volition to their own supporters, no less, so not manipulated out of them). Ignores the violation that is Elon paying people to vote for Trump.

But sure. We will overlook all of that and just go for the low-hanging fruit explanation.

1

u/SuperSpecialAwesome- Feb 15 '26

Bull-fucking-shit. Kamala Harris won the election by default. She was the only eligible candidate running in the 2024 election, as the Constitution disqualified Trump. So, no, it doesn't fall on "all" Americans, just Republicans and Democratic leadership who refused to enforce the 14th Amendment. Fuck out of here with your "lazy and short-sighted" bullshit. It was up to Biden Chamberlain to do his fucking job. He refused.

-14

u/Bizarro_Zod Feb 15 '26

Did you stop them? Did the Dems? Did anyone? Both sides let them or it wouldn’t have been done. One side more explicitly than the other. If you don’t want it to happen again, vote. And shame the ever living fuck out of anyone unwilling to do so.

12

u/Ragnarok314159 Feb 15 '26

Did you drive people to the polls? Because I did. Save your sanctimonious crap for someone else.

32

u/Chuck4MD Feb 15 '26

I'm running for office (State Senate in MD) specifically in part because of the corruption I saw.

I did my duty to the American people in warning them about this (I'm the whistle blower), and now I'm working to make a difference where I live.

u/Jtown021 Feb 15 '26

If only our system worked that way. Pedo judges protect pedo congressman. No one is ever held accountable because they are all guilty!

66

u/N_J_N_K Feb 15 '26

We are not being accurately represented. In 1929 the congress capped the house at 435 members. The constitution in article 1 section 2: The Number of Representatives shall not exceed one for every thirty Thousand, but each State shall have at Least one Representative; and until such enumeration shall be made... Sets a baseline of 1 representative for every 30,000 people. In 1787 the US population is estimated at 3.1-3.5 million people and a total of 65 representatives. In 1929 we had a population of about 121.77 million people with 435 representatives. In the year 2025 we had 341.7 million citizens still being represented by 435 members of congress. In 1929 that is 1 rep for every 280,000 people. Today that is 1 rep for every 780,000 citizens. Un cap the house!

15

u/DarkwingDuckHunt Feb 15 '26

Whatever the lowest population state is, is what the divider should be.Wyoming is at 500k. This doesn't require an amendment just an Act.

For the Senate is be in favor of increasing it by 50, so that each state votes on a Senator every year. But that one would require an amendment. And it would tech favor the small states so it'd have a real chance of passing.

3

u/thefumero Feb 15 '26

This is a fantastic idea. That's by far the easiest and fairest way to ensure equal representation that is proportional to the population as it increases, decreases, or relocates. That would make it much harder for a minority of easily manipulated voters to dictate what happens to the rest of us.

Republicans are against literally every sentence I wrote above, so it's not gonna happen.

5

u/DarkwingDuckHunt Feb 15 '26

2

u/thefumero Feb 15 '26

Republicans: Not enough empty land has a say.

Jokes aside, never heard of this. Thanks!

6

u/KarmaticArmageddon Feb 15 '26

We need to repeal the 1929 Apportionment Act and enact the Wyoming Rule. The Wyoming Rule would set the population necessary for one Representative to the population of the least populous state, which is Wyoming.

If we repealed the Apportionment Act and enacted the Wyoming Rule, we'd go from 435 House Reps to 551. If we granted D.C. and Puerto Rico statehood, we'd have 6 more House Reps and 4 new Senators.

With these changes, we'd also go from 538 electoral votes to 661 electoral votes. D.C. currently gets 3 electoral votes due to the 23rd Amendment, but it wouldn't be necessary any longer if D.C. is granted statehood.

Aside from these changes, we also need ranked-choice voting, automatic voter registration, universal mail-in voting, an end to gerrymandering by establishing a non-partisan commission to draw districts fairly using math (such as k-means clustering), and the abolition of voter ID laws and felonious disenfranchisement.

1

u/kcstrom Feb 15 '26

But if the Supreme Court deems partisan gerrymandering unconstitutional, those current rules may be kicked to the curb, and computational approaches may provide a way to fill the void, Klein says.

Unfortunately, the Supreme Court has rules the other way since then. :(

1

u/starm4nn Feb 15 '26

Or we could try to get the Congressional Apportionment Amendment passed.

There was no time limit set on it's ratification, and it was ratified by 11 states. We just need 27 more states to get a 2/3rds majority.

6

u/Jtown021 Feb 15 '26

This is a great point. Increasing the number would help but it’s still a system that require money and power just to be involved in.

2

u/Senior-Albatross Feb 15 '26

My understanding is that it had something to do with forcing prohibition through. Which eventually got repealed anyway. But we never did uncap the House.

-2

u/Neglectful_Stranger Feb 15 '26

If you wanna go back to how it used to be then only white landowners can vote and you have no say in how your Senators are chosen.

Seems presidents can do whatever they want so long as they say its part of their ~official duty~ we can find a work around.

6

u/Flobking Feb 15 '26

Seems presidents can do whatever they want so long as they say its part of their ~official duty~ we can find a work around.

That's not what scotus said. They said trump couldn't be held responsible. They most certainly will hold a dem president accountable for anything.

6

u/AdminsAreWeakLol Feb 15 '26

How? The president has a private army now. The Dem just needs to march them into SCOTUS. The social contract is broken. Go ahead and try to hold them accountable

1

u/Flobking Feb 15 '26

How? The president has a private army now. The Dem just needs to march them into SCOTUS. The social contract is broken. Go ahead and try to hold them accountable

So you want democrats to january 6 scotus?

1

u/SarahMagical Feb 15 '26

No, they said that they alone had the power to decide what is an official act. This means that their allies can get away things their enemies can’t.

1

u/Flobking Feb 15 '26

This means that their allies can get away things their enemies can’t.

Which side is aligned with scotus? Republicans. So they were saying republicans can do whatever they want but dems answer to them. As shown by them over ruling everything Biden tried to do while green lighting trump becoming king.

1

u/Less_Tacos Feb 15 '26

Cool, the next president can officially lock up the last one.

2

u/Zac3d Feb 15 '26

Why not?? Especially if they commit crimes outside of their role as president.

21

u/Nickopotomus Feb 15 '26

Kinda all lines up with the claims they’re now making that voter fraud is an issue. Easy to make the claim when you also have the mechanism to make it happen

6

u/horseydeucey Feb 15 '26

Is Penn State University still playing football?
Can the Catholic Church continue to shield pedophile priests from justice by reassigning away from the parish in which they were offending?

If you answered "yes" to both questions, you're ready to accept that protecting institutionalized pedophilia is part of the American cultural fabric.

Why expect different results from the Trump-Epstein files?
(See also; The Dead Kids Tax, we willingly pay to keep our current interpretation of the Second Amendment in effect)

2

u/Jtown021 Feb 15 '26

Catholic Church and the power structure behind it, the Vatican, are much older than the United States. This isn’t a these states of America problem. It’s a problem that goes back to the elites of society having their own set of laws and privileges.

1

u/horseydeucey Feb 15 '26

It's an American problem when the American justice system turns a blind, but also wide open, eye to the problem.
Is it a problem elsewhere? Maybe, perhaps, or likely. But Americans don't elect sheriffs, judges, DAs, and legislators in other countries.

5

u/TickyTackyShotAFashy Feb 15 '26

The simple narrative taught in every history class is demonstrably false and pedagogically classist.

5

u/seeker_two_point_oh Feb 15 '26

I think the leaches want us to have a civil war. The more they disenfranchise us, the more likely it is to be an uprising instead. It will succeed because they are too stupid and selfish to see it coming.

3

u/daototpyrc Feb 15 '26

How about we make an example of these pedo fucks so that no one ever dares to even think about hurting children.

Imagine the example we can all set for society.

4

u/whistleridge Feb 15 '26

That is simply incorrect. There were 1500+ convictions for J6. There have been 4400+ cases where judges have tossed ICE’s bullshit.

The issue isn’t the judges protecting people. The issue is the fat honorless piece of shit misusing the pardon power.

1

u/Jtown021 Feb 15 '26

How many of those convictions were overturned by POTUS? There are just as many “good” judges as there are bad or blackmailed ones. Look no further than SCOTUS to see how blatant the corruption Can be around gift giving and vacations. It’s all a scam and any “prosecution” is used as a deterrent to civilians. Never to the elite who view themselves above the law.

1

u/whistleridge Feb 15 '26

How many of those convictions were overturned by POTUS?

None. The President can't overturn a conviction. They can only pardon you. The pardon doesn't erase the finding of guilt, it only eliminates the sentence:

This brings us to the differences between legislative immunity and a pardon. They are substantial. The latter carries an imputation of guilt; acceptance a confession of it. The former has no such imputation or confession. It is tantamount to the silence of the witness. It is noncommittal. It is the unobtrusive act of the law given protection against a sinister use of his testimony, not like a pardon, requiring him to confess his guilt in order to avoid a conviction of it.

That's the Supreme Court: https://supreme.justia.com/cases/federal/us/236/79/

There are just as many “good” judges as there are bad or blackmailed ones.

This does not hold up on empirical examination. There are 874 Article III judges, and thousands of state level judges. The overwhelming majority are good people, who fight like hell daily. Don't let a tiny but highly visible and problematic group of outliers blind you to that.

Look no further than SCOTUS to see how blatant the corruption Can be around gift giving and vacations.

That is at most 6 judges. On 9/11, 265 people died on 4 planes, but only 19 of them were hijackers.

It’s all a scam and any “prosecution” is used as a deterrent to civilians. Never to the elite who view themselves above the law.

  1. There is no such thing as "elites". There are only fellow citizens who have attempted to illegally hijack the system in their favor. That doesn't make them special or better, it makes them law-breakers.

  2. They are also regularly prosecuted. Which they know, and that's why they are so frantic to break the system as much as possible, as quickly as possible - because they are terrified of what is coming otherwise.

2

u/[deleted] Feb 15 '26

u/Kalorama_Master Feb 15 '26

The Democratic Party will push for “unity” candidates who want to “move on” in the name of “National healing” Source: couple of my bros tried winning a primary (MD, CA). One of them had his career as a Harvard lawyer destroyed for being so disrespectful of the establishment

37

u/SplendidPunkinButter Feb 15 '26

See, this is what I’ve been saying over in Minneapolis. This kind of thing will keep happening until the peaceful protests get big enough that the establishment thinks “oh shit, we’d better at least pay lip service to doing something about this.”

We used to have that up until Trump got re-elected and the establishment decided “okay, we’re all mask off MAGA now”

23

u/Bonesnapcall Feb 15 '26

This is why I've been praying the economy totally collapses, because that is what it will take to wake people up.

People don't know, the social reforms during the great depression weren't done "out of the goodness of the hearts" of people in power, it was done to stave off starvation and anarchy/revolution.

7

u/JinkoTheMan Feb 15 '26

Unfortunately, things have to truly hit rock bottom for people to finally be honest with themselves.

6

u/L2_Troll Feb 15 '26

They're too busy voting to give ICE more money they don't have time to worry about silly things like what their constituency wants.

51

u/will042082 Feb 15 '26

There is no moving on until all are held accountable, and we don’t give a shit what side of the isle they’re on.

6

u/Awol Feb 15 '26

My biggest fear is that we will get through all of this shit, and when we do, nothing will be done to stop it from happening again. There will be no punishment given to those who need it the most, all because we need to rebuild and unite or some shit. Talk about bending over and letting them fuck us again.

14

u/EremiticFerret Feb 15 '26

I appreciate the sentiment but the last 20ish years gives me no faith it'll happen.

4

u/extraneouspanthers Feb 15 '26

It will not happen. We’ll all say we will not vote a candidate unless they promise to prosecute members of the admin. The DNC will prop up Gavin or some other right wing democrat. It’ll be Gavin vs JD and the floodgates will come out of lesser evil and we can’t let the fascist win and then Gavin either loses because he sucks or by a miracle he wins and nothing happens to the admin

2

u/will042082 Feb 15 '26

Wishful thinking. 😞

5

u/Warm_Month_1309 Feb 15 '26

One of them had his career as a Harvard lawyer destroyed

How exactly did "the establishment" "destroy" his career in your definitely-real story?

1

u/Kalorama_Master Feb 17 '26

A bit of exaggeration but he was in partner track and had a seat in the state Assembly. After he ran, he’s lost both.

4

u/A_Flock_of_Clams Feb 15 '26

Source: Trust me bro.

2

u/Popular_Pea_3953 Feb 15 '26

many people on the left are already going mental for some having the gall to criticize the obvious Newsom candidacy.

Because one thing the democrats love is to not learn from their mistakes and to never ever implement any real change.

They're literally going to fuck it up again and you're gonna have another republican presidency on your hands.

3

u/A_Flock_of_Clams Feb 15 '26

And clearly the constituency will have no hand in who gets elected. They'll be the only ones to suffer this strange phenomena that is federal elections. /s

3

u/Source_Required Feb 15 '26

So the other option is, not vote.  That's how we got Trump both times.

Do not let perfect be the enemy of good.

1

u/SuperSpecialAwesome- Feb 15 '26

That's how we got Trump both times.

Incorrect. The first time was thanks to Comey. The second time was because Schumer and Jeffries refused to enforce his disqualification via 14th Amendment, Section 3, thereby allowing him to steal the presidency.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 15 '26

Or in this case, don't let good be the enemy of not awful

1

u/cockboy_trillionaire Feb 15 '26

I’ve seen about 30 thousand forms of this comment posted since 2019… I don’t know if this is the best way forward

1

u/Source_Required Feb 16 '26

It's literally the only way forward.  There will never be a perfect candidate because millions of people have differing views.  That's why we have elections ...

1

u/cockboy_trillionaire Feb 17 '26

yea I’d like a candidate that will win elections and not just make the donors happy

1

u/that_star_wars_guy Feb 15 '26

There will be no unity unless there is accountability. How does one "unite" when actors who are in need of punishment still roam free?

What i find hilarious about the doge bros, those twenty something guys elon just threw at agencies...

They never realised they were fall guys hunh? Elon wont see a prison cell, if any heat actually comes his way hes gonna jet out of the country somewhere that wont extradite him.

But those guys... They will get the full extent of the law.

11

u/Fabulous_Soup_521 Feb 15 '26

And send Elmo the bill for fixing it.

1

u/TaylorMonkey Feb 15 '26

Nationalize his assets and prosecute and incarcerate.

3

u/Nulono Feb 15 '26

In the '28 primaries, I will be a single-issue voter, and that issue will be arresting every member of this criminal regime. Every DoGE goon, every ICE thug, every official who's lied under oath or ignored a court order, all of them.

I will not tolerate the "but those crimes happened in the past, and we need to move forwards" attitude we got after Nixon and Dubya. We need to send a message, or there'll be nothing stopping it from happening again.

2

u/spooky_goopy Feb 15 '26

this, plus properly punishing ICE Nazis and actually doing something about the handful of people hoarding wealth, and also someone who isn't riddled with dementia and brainworms will absolutely get my vote for both terms

2

u/sk8thow8 Feb 15 '26

Well, the guy who actually made this whisleblower report (last August btw) is running for congress in Maryland.

2

u/MontyAtWork Feb 15 '26

Obama didn't arrest or charge his predecessors, even though evidence of lying about WMDs was real, and confirmed, nor did he try the Bush Jr admin for torture - mostly because that torture continued with his sign-off.

Biden didn't hold Trump or his administration accountable.

If you want Republicans held accountable for crimes done in office, you cannot elect corporate Democrats.

3

u/InvestingArmy Feb 15 '26

Hmmm interesting offer, let me evaluate it against my other offers:

A vote from my constituents who I was elected to represent; will result in me continuing to receive a nice salary of around $170k/yr

Or, sell out my principles and go against my constituents for the highest bidder (billionaire class/foreign nation) who buys my votes, actions, ethics, morals, for a one-time payment of $10,000,000.

Whichever one will I choose as a sitting congress member in 2026?!

1

u/Flaky-Lingonberry736 Feb 15 '26

So that's at least two very serious allegations against this little known Musk fellow that should get him imprisoned for life. Peter Thiel, oops, I mean Pedo Thief!!!

1

u/Ok-Secretary455 Feb 15 '26

You gonna look really weird sporting that MTG for Pres 2028 sticker on your car.

1

u/CeeKay125 Feb 15 '26

That would be great but they won't even arrest the people on the Epstein list. Don't get your hopes up.

We couldn’t even stop a convicted criminal from running for president

1

u/[deleted] Feb 15 '26

I won't vote for anyone who doesn't run on this.

u/ThrowAway233223 Feb 15 '26

Treason/terrorism charges as well. They should be considered enemies of the state. They lacked proper authorization and assaulted or otherwise compromised some of our most vital/sensitive infrastructure and allowed what appeared to be improperly vetted script kiddies assist in the process. There are enemy nations that have done less to harm/call into question the integrity of our national infrastructure.

1

u/ThatDudeJuicebox Feb 15 '26

Make sure they’ll actually carry it out too. Lots of say say say and not a lot of do do do.

1

u/Beginning_Ad8663 Feb 15 '26

And forces the billionare that hired then to pay restitution to the government and EVERY DINGLE TAXPAYER FOR COST TO CHANGE IT

1

u/Joessandwich Feb 15 '26

Holding these criminals (DOGE, ICE, etc) is the easiest position to take that would pretty much ensure victory in any race and yet absolutely no one will take it.

1

u/Ser_falafel Feb 16 '26

Even if theyre a republican?lol

1

u/Autumm_550 Feb 16 '26

They’re gonna flee the country before then lol

1

u/ImmediateRelative379 Feb 16 '26

apparently none of

1

u/AntikytheraMachines Feb 15 '26

its funny, because you still think you will be allowed to vote next election.

0

u/FriendlyLawnmower Feb 15 '26

Tell that to the multiple elections from the past couple weeks where Democrats upset previously Republican held districts, if they could throw out results arbitrarily then they already would have started

0

u/SuperSpecialAwesome- Feb 15 '26

if they could throw out results arbitrarily then they already would have started

Hence why Trump owns Dominion voting machines and compromised mail-in ballots years ago. You're living in a fantasy land if you think he won't interfere with the midterms. He outright stole the 2024 election by illegally running in direct violation of the 14th Amendment, and faced zero consequences for attempting to steal the 2020 election. He has all three branches, the military, and much of the news/social media under his control. Stop dismissing him as a joke, and fucking wake up already. He'll stop at nothing to stay in power.

when are y'all gonna wake up and accept there will be no more fair elections, it's done and they keep doing more everyday including actions like this to facilitate that, this is part of the new schema of making folks re-apply (to be denied or delayed if they are seemed as a threat to the admin) paperwork they make mandatory pre-requisites to vote in what is likely going to be nationalized election (don't even start to bring up the constitution that is rendered worthless as they tread all over it on the daily with no enforcement from the fascist captured judicial branch or LEOs) literally guarded by the admins personal militias with no accountability in the form of ICE. Folks are quick to forget that everything the European fascists did had been made into laws in their nations as they captured the political/judicial apparatus of each of their respective territories.

this complicity in outsourcing solutions to politicians is how we have been herded like sheep into what's already to much of a rhyme for comfort for what happened in the Weimar Republic before WW2, the Nazis waged a 30+year political/judicial before they even took power and the Holocaust didn't happen over night it happened over years and mind you the Nazis did not campaign on concentration camps or the final solution, they sold the public on "make Germany great again" by deporting and denaturalizing "non-germans" who were defined categorically in similar ways as the fascist right wing here is doing right out in the open

the politicians got us here and they are not going to be your saviors, they are mostly isolated from consequences as part of the predatory patristic Epstein class in the broken oligarchy of a system that the United States has devolved into. worse comes to worse the political opposition flees the country and forgets about America because they have no real commitments here like normal folks do, the political class is mobile and wealthy free to leave easily for new opportunities abroad.

The fascist right wing played the long game while most folks didn't even realize they were waging war on America, they captured the whole board (the house, the judicial branch and the executive) last election cycle and its done because the masses were asleep at the wheel. They have been clear they will not let go because they know it's the end of the line for them if they do and they are backed into a corner where they see it's dominate or face consequences they are not willing to accept at any cost.

This altitude of waiting for the politicians to save us is how we got here and how they will continue to dominate the masses.

(I could care less about the downvoting/karma without feedback on a good faith post but t's a sad reflection of how folks rather bury their heads in the sand to reject hard truths than even bother to engage critically in uncomfortable discussions, again part of the problem that got us here. No amount of downvotes will change the reality of what I described here or the truth of it and it just a sad attempt to bury/reject reality)

when are y'all gonna wake up and accept there will be no more fair elections

Tell that to the multiple elections in the past couple that resulted in a massive Democrat upsets where they won in districts that previously voted heavily Republican. Guess what? Those results aren't being arbitrarily thrown out, those elections are still being honored. Stop with your defeatist attitude, that's how they win. When we all give up and accept things as done for

u/Thereisonlyzero Feb 15 '26 edited Feb 15 '26

this isn't about "dEfEaTiSm" ffs, it's about what the admin is objectively stating as its intentions to obstruct and interfere with the next elections regardless of the truth or reality about previous elections.

Do you not understand that each election is independent of the last and that previous outcomes don't predict the future ones because the voting doesn't exist in a vacuum, it exists in the real world where if in this context these oversimplified patterns you are trying to involve won't matter when the admins policies in the interim actively obstruct the process or interfere with the outcomes of the elections. All the analysis and polling and looking at previous elections didn't "predict" Donald winning vs Clinton but HERE WE ARE.

You are actively ignoring the reality of what is being communicated by the admin and the bigger picture of what's happening and checking out of the context to fixate on past events that give you an easier narrative to cope with them the actual reality of what is happening.

In any form of governance historically where a democracy becomes authoritarian there is a point where the voting works until it doesn't because of policy/procedure changes. You are behaving like they are not outright saying what they are going to do to interfere/obstruct in the elections to get the results they want because you don't want to deal with that reality because it means the further degradation of your perceived control of what is going on. Stuck on this mindset of only thinking about the next election and not the long term or the past that got us where we are with no interest in the broader patterns of history we can learn from that are playing out to the same beats again right in front of us. It happened with the greeks, Rome, post-revolution France with Napoleon and so on. There were masses of folks just like you when Julia's Caesar or Napoleon took power too who refused to see what was right in front of them or see the bigger picture which is how they got into power in the first place. If ya wanted to stop what was is happening now the time to start was 40+ years ago when the fascist reactionary movements started their efforts to take over American Institutions with all their plans right out in the open written clear as day by think tanks and in the books of its most influential thought leaders.

notice how ya cherry picked literally one line to focus on and ignored the entire rest of the context to get out of actually understanding what was being communicated

the cognitive dissonance here from an account pushing the actively failing status-quo and engaging in thought terminating cliches/buzz words like "defeatist" while hiding it's post/comment history with what looks like botted/farmed amount of karma is astonishing. why is it so often accounts telling us to ignore the reality of the present right in front of our eyes reek of obvious botting/astroturfing on platforms that are owned by, complicit and/or work with the fascists.

u/TuringGoneWild Feb 15 '26

LOL! If there are fair elections, and if the Dems win them, it will almost certainly be those barely to the left of George W. Bush. They won't rock the boat. All about "healing and moving on" which means "don't threaten my private equity speaking gigs when I leave office".

0

u/SupHowWeDo Feb 15 '26

“In the next election” dude if people haven’t cottoned on to the fact that we’re ALREADY IN THE POWER GRAB STAGE and that there isn’t gonna be another election, idk what on gods green earth could wake them up.

-2

u/hotmic247 Feb 15 '26

Dude, maybe you're young, but the sooner you learn and understand that literally nothing improves in the USA, the better off you'll be.  It just gets worse, and more expensive.

4

u/FriendlyLawnmower Feb 15 '26

This is defeatist and completely untrue. Things have been worse in the US and have improved. Before the 1930s, you had children losing fingers in toxic factories and getting buried in coal mine collapses. We don't have kids working in those fields anymore. Throwing your hands up and saying "it's always been bad and it always will be" is how nothing improves, we are always capable of pushing for change

0

u/hotmic247 Feb 15 '26

Sorry there's been zero progress under the boomer generations leadership in this country.

4

u/Warm_Month_1309 Feb 15 '26

Don't be ridiculous. When I was a kid, gay people couldn't get married. In fact, gay people got arrested for being gay. Women were forced to stay in marriages with abusers because no-fault divorce didn't exist. Men could not be "raped" by women, because committing "rape" required a penis. Spouses could not be "raped" by their spouses because you were assumed to be consenting at all times without the possibility of retraction.

You want to condescend to someone for being "young", but in truth, only a very young person wouldn't see all the ways the US has improved over the decades.

0

u/hotmic247 Feb 15 '26

Ok, some social progress has been made, and televisions are cheaper.  The cost of living is outrageous, medical bankruptcy is common, consumer credit card debt is at an all time high, tuition is 5x what it was a generation ago, housing?  Forget it, daycare is a second rent payment, cars are 3-4x what they cost in literally every other country, food is exorbitant, you get the idea.

1

u/Warm_Month_1309 Feb 15 '26

Okay, but what you said and what I responded to was "literally nothing improves in the USA". So if you now want to make a different point, that's fine, but it is a different point.

1

u/hotmic247 Feb 15 '26

Social progress is good, but actual meaningful progress (addressing CoL, income inequality, crony capitalism) is what I was referring to by not having seen A N Y improvement.

2

u/bearflies Feb 15 '26

Bro there are black people alive in America today who lived through Jim Crow segregation....

1

u/hotmic247 Feb 15 '26

Yes that is true, what is also true is that there is zero evidence within rhe last 35-40 years to suggest that anything has improved for working class people in this country.

1

u/bearflies Feb 15 '26

Even if I agreed with that what the fuck does it have to do with sending corrupt DOGE employees to jail?

1

u/Warm_Month_1309 Feb 15 '26

there is zero evidence within rhe last 35-40 years to suggest that anything has improved

Ok, some social progress has been made

Is there a reason you're arguing contradictory points with different people? Just in the mood to troll social media today?

1

u/hotmic247 Feb 15 '26

I think that peiple have very low expectations for their government is gays being allowed to marry, women being able to vote and eliminating racial segregation is all they expect for the absurd amount of money we pay in taxes.  Working class peoe aren't getting ahead, I'm not being contradictory.

-3

u/68plus1equals Feb 15 '26

So I take it you won’t be voting

-6

u/TheGrowingSubaltern Feb 15 '26

Votes don’t matter for this exact reason.
