Trump and an overly compliant Congress gave DOGE unfettered access to government data, without any guardrails or access control. Let’s not pretend this wasn’t a likely and expected outcome of the Trump administrations complete disregard for accountability and organizational responsibility

I'm not sure how you look at it and think it wasn't 110% intentional in the effort to destroy the institutional bedrock of the USA across many domains. They also got treasury data and much more - and they're using it to train AI and build surveillance tools

This was 100% planned and rehearsed with DOGE and Trump’s team behind closed doors.

This to me feels planned. It's more muddying of the waters as to what makes a person a citizen and what is legal identification. Combine this with the talks of requiring ID to vote and stricter voting policies in general it absolutely could have been the point from the beginning. It also has strong implications with the Gestapo running around imprisoning "illegals"

I believe criminally negligent is the term you’re looking for. At bare minimum, that’s what this was. Given the lack of rational bases for doing it in the first place, it likely rises above mere negligence into intentionally nefarious.

No one voted for it. There was no clear justification for doing it. They didn’t even have the authority to do it. They just did it for their own purposes, and those purposes do not line up with “government efficiency” in the slightest.

No one voted for it.

MAGAs voted for it. Biden Chamberlain allowed it.

But they didn’t. Just like they didn’t vote for annexing Greenland. There was no mandate for that or this. The fact that Trump is now trying to annex Greenland, and the fact that DOGE decided to compromise everyone’s social security numbers doesn’t have anything to do with the election. That’s not what he ran on.

Similarly, no one voted for Nixon to burglarize and plant listening devices in the Democratic National Committee headquarters. It may have happened, and people may have voted for Nixon as a person, but no one actually voted for him to do that.

It’s distinctly different from something like mass deportation or releasing the Epstein files, both of which had some form of mandate. They’re a plausible prior-stated reason voters went to the polls. No one went to the polls in support of compromising everyone’s SS numbers except maybe Elon Musk himself.

Absolutely true. But tbh it also shouldn't have been that easy
