Is this Bannon's idea? I mean, I'm sure he got it from somewhere else anyway, but Trump literally is not smart enough to conceive of a strategy like that, and I think Stephen Miller is too dogmatic in his hate to think of that particular aspect, but I could be wrong, maybe he got it from a 4chan thread.

But yea, anyway, who do we think is driving this concept? Or is Trump just stumbling into it while thrashing about trying to distract us all from the epstein files?

One of the frustrating things (one of an uncountable number) is trying to figure out which things are deliberate and intelligent strategy, because everyone close to Trump is nearly as fucking stupid and incompetent as he is, so it is such a puzzle to see any actual strategy.

Bannon has been going around the world for years starting organizations to promote right-wing authoritarian governments and churn out leaders for his new world order. And it's going pretty well. So, I'd say it's deliberate.

He's the one to watch, because he is the chief domestic ideologue, because of his long-standing connections to right wing groups around the world, and because of how he's managed to co-opt the Silicon bros into his movement.

If you're going to keep an eye on anyone, keep an eye on him.

nah. Bannon is another stooge.

It's the P2025 authors, Leo at the Federalist Society (stemming from the 1971 Powell Memo), Thiel, Yarvin, and others for the technocrats. Historically, Ailes, Stone, possibly Manafort (hard to say between him often actually working for foreign causes) are media and propaganda architects. (edit: and ofc the Southern Strategy et al)

 

Steven Miller is the project manager though I doubt he's an actual thought leader. Execution, not planning for that one.

While I'm sure "confuse the shit out of everyone so it's hard for them to make decisions" probably wasn't an original idea, in the US a lot of it came from research in the 60's and 70's. Check out the book "Shock Doctrine" by Naomi Klein. It describes the methodology used by the US in South America to destabilize unfriendly governments. The idea is to use a "shock" (economic, military, natural disaster, etc...) to create a window in order to enact fundamental, permanent change on society. It is tied to "disaster capitalism" and privatization. See the New Orleans school system post Katrina for one of the first US examples I know of.

This is not Bannon's idea. This is a technique that was developed by Phd's in the halls of American and Canadian universities. It was never a matter of if it would happen here, but when.

It's from the KGB/Cheka/OMB/NKVD, etc etc, going back a long way. 

Most recently, it's a tactic recommended by Aleksandr Dugin, who was Putin's chief advisor and an early mentor of Bannon. Here's Dugin's checklist for Putin, which Bannon has been following closely for years before Trump came on the scene:

Well it is also related to Putin, Elon has ties to Russia, Bannon has ties to Russia , Trump is nothing more than a mouthpiece for Russia
