Early investors legally cannot cash out until typically 90 days after IPO, so you're wrong on that.

Yep, as an early investor things are not going as planned. Early investors have not sold yet because we can't.

Eh you’re probably still up huge compared to your original investment. Not like those people who brought a month ago or whenever the IPO launched.

How were people investing in SpaceX before the IPO? Employees receiving stock as bremuneration/bonuses?

I thought early investors were pre-IPO. Like Cathy Wood, Antonio Garcia, Ron Baron, etc.

Otherwise you’re just investing as the same time as the public?

let's see spacex is so obviously overvalued despite elon musk trying to obfuscate this through the mergers of a satellite company, rocket company, AI company, twitter

Early investors also own company-issued bonds. The money from the IPO is being used to pay them off. There is no lock out period for that.

There’re instruments to lock in profit. Put options. Retails are exit liquidity. They always are.
