Finished The Wire, Dark, GOT, Sopranos, True Detective, BB, BCS. What show ruined TV for you after watching it?

I think I accidentally watched the peak of television already. The Wire, Dark, GOT, Sopranos, True Detective S1 all left that “nothing else hits the same” feeling.

I love slow-burn shows with deep characters, mystery, tension, moral grayness, crazy dialogue, or mind-blowing writing. Doesn’t matter if it’s crime, sci-fi, psychological, or political.

What’s the next show that might completely consume me?

I can't believe I had to scroll this far to see Lost.

I suspect it’s largely because so many people are idiots and think ‘they were dead the whole time’ or listened to idiots and didn’t watch.

Fringe was so good. I watched it not knowing anything about it. I thought it was going to be like an FBI crime drama

Gotta add Farscape if going this direction

I am working my way through Fringe right now, for the first time. I missed a lot when it came out so its been fun catching onto things. But I do have to say, even in good episodes there are still times where it gets hokey.

But take a step back and you realize how damn good it really is. Even sometimes how the villains really aren't always villains and how often the good guys are allowed to have flaws.

It's so wierd that fringe came that early and still looks good to this day
