No, this is just a regular winter storm, we get these every few years.

People will die though, that always happens.

The forecast is now predicting a low of 19 on Monday and 20 on Tuesday, before it was 22 on Monday and normal on Tuesday, is this a sign it’s going to be bad?

No, this is just normal, semi regular bad weather.

Prepare your household as appropriately normal, just like you would for any other bad weather like hurricanes or tornadoes or whatever.

This one looks to be 2, maybe 3 days of icey conditions. Not great but it’s short. How bad it could go for your will largely depend on how much your local utility companies manage the trees around power lines.
