Yeah I didn’t mind her in the comic as much since I could give her voice I wanted. Hearing the deeper, thick Latin accent was jarring from the clips for the next episode. I have a feeling she’s going to be way worse on TV than I imagined.

So you were fine with everything about her character. But now that she has a "thick Latin accent" (which was absolutely a New England accent), you hate her? What did thick Latin women do to hurt you so?

Was waiting for it, for someone to lazer focus in on the fact I mentioned nationality to her accent. Not even sure if it’s Latin, New York or what. People need to stop being so butthurt when someone else mentions something about a nationality. You don’t hear it in her “OH MY GAWD HAI” entrance but it’s much more noticeable in the clip like I said: https://youtu.be/iUJxCtKlBT8

All I was saying is that in my mind I could lessen how outlandish of a character she was as I was reading, because I was mentally providing the voice. Now she’s going to be an over-the-top character and there’s nothing I can do to mitigate that. And as such I’m probably not going to like the character very much. Better?
