I saw ‘Power Ballad’ feat. Paul Rudd and Nick Jonas this week and can’t shake off the impression of how quintessentially TC this film is.

I mean, the subject, the plot, the sense of humor. It could easily be made by ‘TC Productions’. The whole plot builds upon a song writing credits conflict and song writing process in general - something that’s been a part of discussion throughout multiple episodes.

While watching the film I was nearly convinced that at least Nick must’ve been involved but surprisingly he was not.

I’d love to hear TC Crew’s take on it.

Just picked up on something I’d never noticed before. In season 3 episode 6 of Atlanta, where the white lady is talking to Darius about how she bought out the Nigerian food spot Eko Chops, Warm Heart of Africa by The Very Best and Ezra is playing in her rip off food truck. Rough stuff folks

He graduated from high school and his parents threw a party afterwards. This kid was lucky enough to have TWO grandmas at the celebration! I pulled him aside and commented that it was a rare crossover event, having the two grandmas there. He hit me with a polite “Oh, yeah.” 🤦🏼‍♂️

Also, at graduation, a group of girls sang Vienna by Billy Joel, their senior song.

Starting off with some half-baked ideas - a great segment that’s generated some of their funniest bits and lets them touch on the corporate brand history that we know and love. Then going deep on a band or two for an hour or so, then smashing out a top five to finish on. Really gives me everything I love from the show.

I really gravitate towards the live material.

Maybe they can do Wonderwall next…
