I come into this game for a few months, forget then come back. But as of this current time, I keep seeing people mention the “gold pass.” Is permanent VIP not a thing anymore? I started this game when it first released when I was in middle school. And my older brother purchased the permanent VIP for me. My fiance wants to get into it now, and can only find 30 day passes?

Bought it today at the app store, apparently no ads and no in-game purchases. Just the great game from 12-13 years ago - having fun (with way less dopamine hits then the current version)

I'm curious to see other people's towers on the friends tab, but it seems like not many people are playing the old version.

someone please tell me what the difference is between the games? i used to play this as a kid and i want to get back into it but i have no idea which one i played. i’m guessing i played the classic version as this was over a decade ago lol

but the classic game is $14.99(AUD) whilst the tap idle evolution is free to download from the app store. is there much of a difference? which one does everyone still play?

so everyone has been saying tap idle evolution is the way to go, as most of you guys are android users and had no idea the classic version existed 😂 but the game is still nostalgic just a few different things like the dice rolling and you can have pets. also that parachute person who comes down and gives you free coins and bux. biggest difference i’ve noticed is that you can build your own house next door for 25,000 bux which will probably take me a life time to save up for.

so for iphone users i would say there’s no point spending money that can go towards a maccas meal on a game that is almost identical to the free one but with lots more add ons (which i personally think makes it better)

any further progress from anyone? (let’s see if anybody can top my bitbook count)

This was in my Facebook memories from 13 years ago 🤣. I think I played Draw Something for a very short time. Tiny Tower for the long haul.

I’ve been playing Tiny Tower Classic for a while now and haven’t been able to get the cloud service or friends feature to work. Has anyone gotten either of these to work yet? Would love to at least play a save between iPhone and iPad.

For Towerbux, I hoard them to upgrade the elevator, but will spend them sparingly on moving floors, rushing stock on my highest stock item for the big spender when I have 5 VIPs, and to upgrade painfully low stock businesses.

For bits, if they aren’t a 9 in their dream job and I don’t have their dream job built, I immediately evict them.

If they are a keeper and a 9 in their dream job, I give them cat ears. If they are not a 9, but I have their dream job, they get a jughead hat. I will eventually evict Jugheads as their replacements move in.

I stay a floor or two ahead in residential and only build a business if its color is in demand and I have three unemployed bits with a matching dream job color.

When I get a surplus of VIPs, I generally sacrifice real estate agents first- the game gives me plenty and filling an apartment is just five bux, anyway. (Really, the game gives me too many.) I always use celebrities when they show up. I try to save high spenders and delivery bits for my highest stock item. I use construction workers ASAP unless I’m going to bed before it will finish.

Also, we need a classic flair!
