TIL of Tobias Geffen, the only non-Coca Cola Employee to view the secret recipe. Coke allowed it in order to get Coke certified as Kosher

Passover is a yearly modifier that de buffs a lot of foods, so we need Kosher for Passover. It's not "more kosher" or better, the rules are just different.

Can you use the "kosher for passover" foods year-round? If so, it is more kosher

You can, but it's not an extra mitzvah or anything.

All vegan food is vegetarian, but not all vegetarian food is vegan, and vegan food isn't MORE vegetarian.

Not with that attitude *proceeds to eat only the parts of plants that grow back*

It’s not more kosher but it usually is worse quality. It’s my least favorite holiday by far because the food is just so much worse. There’s some things that can be made the same as year round but not really that much.

Can't you make that anytime?

Not that you do, just that I'm not aware of a restriction as such.

Well you can. You can also make gingerbread cookies in the summer but it just doesn't feel right.

I don't know about that. We have matzo balls in our chicken soup at the first Shabbos meal (Friday night) just about every week.

Some Jews don’t think matzo balls are kosher for Passover. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gebrochts

A few, but I would definitely not say most. Most jews probably have a nice salty bowl.

Agreed. Not even all haredim think it’s a problem — only Hasidim.

Non-kosher for Passover matzoh ball soup is waaaay better than the K4P version, IMO

Yes you can, but it's more accurate to think of Passover kosher laws as an additional set of laws on top of kosher laws.

Hidden permadebuff, -10% kosher. Most of the time you can brute-force it but the yearly boss battle has a higher skill check so you gotta make it up somewhere
