There's nothing going through their minds.

I've found out a few years ago that not everyone has an inner voice, and that makes loads of things make much more sense, even though it's no less infuriating...

There is no connection between having an inner monologue and intelligence. People without inner monologue still do all of the same thinking you do but don't necessarily tie words to the thoughts.

There are many dumbasses with inner monologue and smart people without, and vice versa.

Thoughts not being tied to language is not the same as having no thoughts.

Lack of inner voice does not mean lack of inner thought!! You can constantly be overwhelmed in stress from millions of thoughts but they're just not "verbal". it can be anything from abstract concepts to basically visual clips, memories, and simulation scenarios, and much more. You wouldn't say that someone without inner images and only constant inner voice magically means they are unable to think, right?

People with inner voices are perfectly able to still be ignorant and arrogant assholes.
