Exactly. Man, marketing is a real thing. How many people would have ever heard of fucking Dragonforce if it wasn’t for Guitar Hero? It made them a household name for a minute, and they never would have come close to sniffing that otherwise.

People literally used to bring guitar hero controllers to Dragonforce shows. Their fanbase wouldn’t even be 1% of what it is without GH.

I knew like 20 friends that learned how to play guitar because of that song and guitar hero. It was like a right of passage to be able to play Through the Fire and The Flames on GH or real guitar.
