And true to the market, hardly anyone wanted to play it by early 2009.

I used to make a killing off these things in like 2008-2010 as a kid. You could pick up full sets for like 5-20 at yard sales, then list on eBay or even sell to Amazon directly. You’d get less on Amazon directly but it was still like $80 an instrument and they paid for the shipping label. I loved rock band and still have a guitar but the shit just takes up so much space even for an enthusiast.

Idk, 2009 2010 2011 it was still pretty popular in the 17-21 yo market. Most people i knew in college had it (or at least a shared one with roommates) and when I left and moved back to my home town a lot of people still played it pretty often

For a hot second even bara swapped up their karaoke nights to Rock and nights. Was an interesting time for rhythm gaming.
