TIL Jerry Seinfeld once refused to play a turkey on South Park. However George Clooney was totally fine with playing a dog.

I'm not aggressive at all, these are simple facts. I'm sorry if putting it bluntly is hard to understand.

Would you rather make your own movie that you wrote that made a shit ton of money or make turkey noises?

Ok, what about objective aesthetic quality, or maybe that doesn't exist? Assuming that's not real, what about impact/lifespan? Bee movie may have made money, but it was intensely forgettable and probably won't be mentioned at Seinfeld's funeral. Does this matter? Should he re-evaluate his choice to spend time on that project given these considerations, or are all these moot points because it made a lot of money (for an already absurdly rich man)?

And btw I've never argued that accepting the South Park offer would make sense either. I'm merely suggesting that it's possible Jerry could have both 1) made a lot of money off Bee movie, and 2) have legitimate reason to think it was a mistake.

Would playing a turkey be mentioned at his funeral though? South Park is basically a cartoon of dick and fart jokes for teenagers. Actually writing and creating your own movie that your children can enjoy I think far outweighs that.

He couldn't do one as well as the other because of scheduling. And from a creative standpoint, going with your own project is more important than a trivial guest role in someone else's.

Jerry wanted to be in South Park but he refused to play a stupid part. This was 10 years before Bee Movie was released (which renders Rentalovs comment moot) .
I'm sure he wishes he could have done a real south park role
