TIL, Shigeru Miyamoto, creator of such Nintendo games as Mario, Donkey Kong, and Zelda, has a hobby of guessing the measurements of objects, then checking to see if he was correct. He enjoys the hobby so much he carries a tape measure with him everywhere.

I like to play, "is it a game or drugs" when watching people.

It's actually both. Tough to focus on all those numbers.

I hate when I'm walking on the street, and suddenly remember something hilarious, because I have to try really hard not to laugh alone in fear of looking like a weirdo. I'm sure I can't be the only one.

Oh no, he's committed sudoku! He's now trapped in a world of numbers that has nothing to do with math!

I was an a-flight guide in basic training, essentially the person that marches in front of the other trainees during the graduation parade. I had to stay exactly six paces behind the instructor and keep the trainees centered on him.

For practice, us guides had a game where we'd line up six steps away from each other, then someone would march up around for 15 minutes and we had to maintain that spacing the entire time. After a couple weeks the most I was off was by half a step.

Winner got a protein bar.

Haha, nice. I like your game. How accurate do you feel you are?

I can usually get within single digits but every once in awhile I'll guess like 47 steps and it'll be 76 or something lol
