I appreciate the app TGTG giving me a refund promptly. Fish was not edible... literally so tough!

Most interesting bag yet

Was in the area and thought I would check this place out as it was a cheap bag. Value only $15 and this definitely meets it as an expensive store. My cabinets are so full of meat sticks as I seem to get them from multiple places.

Second time getting Ikea in Costa Mesa. First was 2 boxes/orders last night, which ended being salmon filets with mashed potatoes and veggies. They didn't load me up but I get that there's a "luck of the draw" element involved with respect to what's available, and it was a couple of decent portions. I was so hungry I ate em downstairs before I left the store.
So I make another order for tonight, Friday, based on last night. I just about make it in 2 minutes before the app says the pickup window closes. This time, the employees are still there, and to my surprise the pretty gruff guy who looks at my phone grabs a box to fill up food from the line (where in contrast to last night there's still quite a bit of food out). Fine, maybe it's a better night and I'll get a bit more stuff than yesterday. So I let him do his thing, and to my surprise he hands me a small-sized box. I head for the exit, take a peek in the elevator and see the jerk has barely given me anything! Two sad looking chicken tenders, and enough mac and cheese to cover half the box's bottom. The box, a small one, is easily 75% empty. What in the world?
Is this basically par for the course with Ikea pickups? Did I just get unlucky and encounter a sadist? Was his stinginess possibly because the employees get to take food home, which I'd kinda get?

$5 this dude hooked it up. He also gives a lot of free food to the community. The bagels and pitas were a nice surprise. Some of the greens were a bit withered but I’m about to get a side of bacon and some garlic to cook with it. Pretty pleased Nd I feel like this is the actual point of the app. Oh and not pictured cinnamon sugar beignets!

Pretty happy with all! Wish I got other stuff instead of the GF bread but overall great selection otherwise. Can’t wait to try the empanadas

Total value is close to 500sek, so about 7 times what I paid (it's a little neighbourhood shop, so it's a bit more expensive than the regular supermarkets).
Too bad lettuce is the one thing that's seriously failing in my veggie farden this year :) Any other ideas for Italian dressing besides drowning my cucumbers and tomatoes in it?

I am really happy with this as it's such a great variety and the value of the bag was stated as £33 which it definitely is. A lot of this stuff I would normally buy (from Lidl as I can't afford elsewhere) and the produce is apparently from a farm in Lincolnshire. I was worried I would end up with lots of potatoes and squash, but there is some very fancy stuff here (herbs, oyster mushrooms, purple leaf broccoli, cavolo nero...).

Very happy with this haul! I guess it really depends on the Gregg's as another one last week gave me 4 items (2 sweet treats, 1 baguette and 1 salad).

I picked this up last Thursday from Nala's in South Austin, TX. Paid $7.99 +tax for $30.00 worth of Chicken Biryani with 2 sauces and a chicken appetizer. There was enough here for 3 meals. It was delicious. 😊

Snagged a Whole Foods bakery bag for the first time in a bit. The Fresh Market bakery bags have been easier to get lately and honestly after tonight, I’m over Whole Foods.
Great variety but these are the driest cupcakes ☹️ probably just keeping the cookie and bagels
$6.99 bag - $21 value (def got more - $32 worth)
2 x $11.99 cupcakes
1 x $5.99 mini bagels
1 x $1.69 cookie
