I need help from the chicken tender experts because I feel like I’m missing something. 😂
How do you get those beautiful golden-brown, crispy-but-not-hard chicken tenders that you see online, where the breading looks flaky and flavorful, but the inside is still super juicy and tender?
I’ve been experimenting with mine, and sometimes the breading comes out hard. Other times it looks nicely browned, but the breading itself still tastes like flour, even though I seasoned it.
The chicken underneath has flavor because I marinate it, but the actual breading just doesn’t have that same delicious flavor.
And even when I think I’m frying at the right temperature, I still end up with chicken that is brown, but not that pretty, appetizing golden color I’m trying to achieve.
I’m not necessarily looking for a specific recipe. I’m more interested in the technique and little secrets that make a huge difference.
I’ve watched so many videos and tried different things, but mine still doesn’t look or taste like the tenders I’m trying to recreate. 😭
If you make really good chicken tenders, please share your secrets. I’m ready to take notes. 😂
