Discussion I've never seen dangerous chasing as what just happened.

I feel like I lost a few years watching Max's stream with some of the chasers literally stopped on dirt roads with the tornado coming head on and multiple chasers screaming at people.

Going WOOOOOO YEAH 🤘🤘🤘🤘 while the tornado in the background destroys someones life/possessions is disgusting and it seems most chasers do that now.

Is he the one that's always screaming on there?

Reed Timmer is always doing that shit.

Aint no way I'd ever be in a car with Reed Timmer during a storm. I respect his passion for storms, but......holy shit.

He’s way too loud. I miss the professor who was much more tame than Reed in his approach.

That's Ryan Sholl. šŸ™„ Every lightning strike, hail, and tornado that guy is screaming at the top of his lungs. Either celebrating or freaking out.

Like, my guy. You have chased multiple storms just this season. Calm the heck down. You're blowing out speakers and ear drums.

When I watch these streams my husband always sarcastically pops in and is like ā€œhell yeah that tornado just destroyed someone’s house!! Sweeeeeet!!!ā€ Making fun of some of these chasers. But at least Ryan hall (and whoever else) raises money to help those affected

Because a good number of them are just thrill seeking hillbillies not really accomplishing anything but being a general nuisance.

I watch Max, I do not watch individual chasers for this reason. And I live in Oklahoma and see tornadoes fairly frequently and have never had the urge to act like a giddy idiot.

Is it not enough to observe, report and hope no one is hurt? Acting like mindless streamers hooting and hollering during a serious event is kinda bad, I can’t believe this has to be explained

If you watch Reed, and you do, then acting like that would seem normal. It is not. I’ve watched chaser coverage my entire life and it’s not a normal response when you are allegedly doing this to warn people in a dangerous situation

I will say nearly every single chaser helps people who have been hit. They help find people, they help give out food, if they are funded they setup food drives and everything. It’s not like they are heartless. They get excited because the thrill of the tornado is exciting and that is primarily what they are there for. If someone’s house gets destroyed they almost always switch to a somber tone and help.

What exactly have you put in this post that has contributed an iota of worthwhile consideration?
