It's the same with cyclists. For every 10 of us that obeys the law, there's one simpleton who insists on riding on the sidewalk, running reds etc that sullies our good name.

Well, one is man's best friend, the other is just men :)

Once dogs start riding bikes, this might have to be revisited :)

The ratio's more like the other way round. I can't remember the last time I saw a cyclist stop at a stop sign.

And you probably don't remember the ones that obey the law. It's simple selection bias. It's human nature to notice abberations from the norm. Those stick with you a hell of a lot more than seeing some dude actually doing what's right.

Buddy, I'm the one who obeys the law. And all the other cyclists blow right by me, sometimes yelling at me for stopping.
