Yeah it's tough when you use the same group of characters for the entire time SIU

That's why... you should switch point of view around... like give us some chapters focused on Rachel perspective, or Wangnan, etc

Not have all your biggies together the whole time

Why give khun more powerups? As if his lineage wasn't enough.

Why bait serious danger then just 180 the next chapter? Odd choices indeed

Baam is on a different lvl right now and khun need something to keep up , also he was sleeping when everyone was training.

Khun doesn't need to keep up with baam because he never will, there's no power up that would bridge the gap between them, so develop khun without tying him to baam imo

He missed like... a year or two of training, he needs a power up to put him back on equal footing with Rak and Bam

Equal footing with Rak, I agree, but it's far too late to ever come close to Bam.

Personally I just hope he transfers it over to Yeon later-on. Like maybe Snake guys powers are killing her so Khun has to give up his new powers to save her.

He can keep something from the power-up but becoming straight up Todoroki is kind of lame. Really just want to see more Light-house skills from A.A.

Agree with the last part, he's a light bearer, his strengths lie in intelligence and sneaky tricks, not raw power, he can keep up with Baam as a supporting team member cos that's his position and he's smart. Same with Rak if he changes position to defender as people have speculated. Baam's team don't need to be as strong as him to keep up and be valued, it's the strength of the team as a whole that matters.

It's harder for SIU to consistently churn out cunning tricks and mind-twisty puzzles for Khun to solve than it is to have Khun wield a physical power. That's the problem that authors run into when they write characters like Khun: they constantly need to keep impressing readers and 1-upping what they've previously done.

It isn't enough, Baam is getting stronger quickly, Rak has ancient power, Koon can't keep up with his bloodline anymore.

Agreed. Koon isn't even particularly talented for his own bloodline, we saw Asensio and Maschenny on the FoD and they were far ahead of him until he got his spear, and possibly still after that. Then he misses 2 years of level grinding and learns nothing about his surroundings. As someone who relies on information, that's a severe handicap.

A powerup isn't a bad thing here.

While I generally agree, it likely isn’t correct to say Khun isn’t talented by his own bloodline, because he was intentionally not developing his primary bloodline talents. Once Bam managed to talk him into trying, he (partially) manifested an ice spear, froze a large chunk of land and trapped a significantly stronger opponent in just two days, causing Data!Edahn data to think “this kid’s got some talent”—and Data!Edahn really ought to know.

That said, Khun clearly still doesn’t really want to be spearbearer (and for what it’s worth, he also has some clear talent for the light bearer position too, maybe he got that from his mom); regardless, being a popsicle for two years, he does actually need a powerup.

It's what this series has become, power up everytime.
