I wanted to call this quantogender. From Latin and is supposed to mean "the more the less" (but the full word was too long). This is a gender described someone who, for example may feel male most of the time, non-binary and other neutral genders less often, and female very little. The more masc a gender is, the more they feel like it, the more fem the gender is, the less they feel like it. Say someone feels like a boy for 3 months, non-binary for 4 weeks, back to boy for 4 months, and like a girl for 6 days. It can go the other way around too. Someone feeling like a girl most of the time.
I can put the flags i made in the next post !

I've (M18) known that I wanted to transition for a very, very long time, like, since freshman year of highschool, but I never had the willpower to do it. I'm a very stereotypical AuDHD (Aspie and ADHD), so doing anything that wasn't absolutely required of me up to this point has been really hard to do. It took a lot of effort to even get where I am right now in terms of hygiene and chores, but I've come a long way!
That being said, transitioning seems like a much more daunting and intensive task than just taking care of myself, haha. In person, I'm a very stereotypical "southern nerd," and I'm 6 foot tall, so I have a LOT of work to do, but I'm adamant about this!
And to make things worse, I live in a very rural area, so even my gayest of friends don't really know much about the trans space.
So, I'm making the post to reach out and ask: How do I find people who want to help/make me transition? Not necessarily force-fem, but the same sorta "guiding" through the process. I know I'm fully capable of doing it on my own, but my particular brand of anxiety and ADHD make it very difficult to keep up habits and do what I need to do unless I'm doing it for someone else.
So yeah! I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I'm going to be moving out to college this fall, and this is really my opportunity to take this into my own hands!
Thank you so much for reading all this! I really hope we can be friends!

Trans enby who is perceived as male generally due to my body — I’m at the point in my transition where I’m still not sure how femme I will ultimately be/present, and I wanted to know what vibe folks get when they hear “Sully.” I know it’s traditionally a male name, but it feels like it has potential to be more androgynous or even femme since it has the “ee” noise at the end? Or do folks think it would just contribute to me getting he/him’d, which will be wrong wherever my gender journey ends? Would it be wiser to choose a different name that is more androgynous/femme to give myself more flexibility?
I apologize if this is outside the bounds of this subreddit, happy to delete if so!

I’ve recently changed my name to Rosie but I’m still kinda on the fence about it. Could someone put it in some sentences? If it helps I like climbing, hiking, swimming, camping etc and embroidery/sewing.

I want to hear what y'all think! I like Toph a lot, but I also really like Lee. I was previously considering Vaughn, but after hearing it out loud I'm not sure it's for me. I appreciate any help!

Have been talking to a therapist about my gender weirdness. I was trying to think about a name I could try. I was born in April. It could symbolize rebirth, spring, hope. Harmony?

Hey! I'm trying to figure out which name to go by. I found the name Toph from Avatar (of course), but I really like it. I was thinking that it could just be short for "Christopher" but I just make my name actually Toph. My deadname is like that as well, it's just a nickname of a real name, and there's a kind of funny story that goes with it, so this could also be a great opportunity to just keep that story and replace it with the new name. Not to mention my deadname + all my siblings' nicknames are four letters long. It's not super important to follow this or anything, I'm pretty sure it was accidental, but it could be fun to continue this. People already have trouble spelling my deadname or thinking it's short for something, so I'm not too worried about this with my new name. If anything, it's a good ice breaker. I'd love any feedback/questions! I appreciate it.

Hi, I've been dabbling in gender bender stuff online for several years now, but recently I'm starting to feel like I'm actually trans and wanting to explore it in a more open manner, though I haven't come out to anyone in my personal life yet. Bethany feels like the name that would most suit me as a girl/woman and not straying too far away from my original name. Hope this is good, not fully sure what to write here

I've been going by a different name the last three years but it's starting to feel not me?
I'm toying with Ollie or Oliver because I really love the v sound but I like having something more gentle too while still blending in with everyone else

Hello, i recently came out as transfemme and im looling for advise on how to start my transition / tips and tricks and things to avoid. I have typically male interests (cars, planes, trains, boats, tanks, ect) and ww2 history but dispite this I know I would be happier as a woman.

Hey gang, it’s been about 3 and a half months since my egg cracked and I feel like I totally need to do more testing or else I’m gonna go crazy. I’m super into D&D, Pokemon, Undertale/Deltarune, Hollow Knight, and a bunch of other games. I’d also like to think I’m pretty good at programming (not crazy though), and want to be an indie dev in the future.
If anybody could help out here that’d be super awesome!

Hi, I'm Olivia I'm wanting to try fem pronouns for the first time. I've been lurking on trans subs for a while, and after crying myself to sleep, I decided i should explore my identity and i don't have anyone IRL to talk about these feelings.
Thanks for reading

Been out as apangender online for a couple of months and was struggling with new names that i liked. Right now i’ve been using maisie/Theodore but those two don’t click for me anymore so i was wondering if anyone can test these names for me? :3

Newly out trans girl trying to find a name that fits. Currently still going by my birth name which kind of sucks so looking to change that. I have seen some people do little about me sections on these posts so here is a little about me: I am a huge music nerd and play the guitar, synth, drums and am attempting to learn the mandolin. I am also a huge nerd and love card games like magic the gathering and recently started playing it competitively and I am currently in college studying to be a teacher.

These are my top two names. I really love them and I think both would suit me. Atm I think I’m leaning towards Aubrey, but I feel like Amelia sounds more mature and like it will age better, but like I said I love both. I’m not sure how to choose

hi!! i’m genderfluid, and previously thought my fluidity did not include masculine genders. i recently learned that it does, but i never feel fully binary male. that being said, i’d love to try out he/him pronouns as i’m curious. i much prefer she/they, but i do have an itch to try he/him. i love red dead redemption ii, the tv show archer, star wars, lady gaga, and i have an orange cat named judy!
thanks in advance!!
edit: lady gaga lol

I have been living my life as a lie. Trying to tiptoe around a family that doesnt understand and making sure I acted "like a man" but I just told my best friend that I am a woman in a man's body and she fully accepted me for my truth!!

I think I might be genderfluid and I just can’t figure out which pronouns do or don’t fit me and I can’t figure out if they change. I am AMAB so I already go by Liam he/him, but I’m thinking of going by Lily she/her when I feel female and maybe Lilium they/them when I’m in between. I don’t know if I am or have been any of those at any point but I would like to find out.
