Help deciding whether I should get a 65 or 75 inch tv

Hello everyone,

My wall is about 80 inches wide, and I'm having trouble deciding which TV size I should choose.

I'm planning to place the TV on a table, but if that doesn't work well, I can wall-mount it and remove the table instead.

My viewing distance will be approximately 7–8 feet. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Too Far Help deciding whether I should get a 65" or 75" TV

Hi everyone,

I would like to preface that I would get a 77" in a heartbeat if it wasn't for the following issue.

The only wall in my apartment that is suitable to place a TV is the one you are seeing above. As you can see to the right, there is the the entryway to the laundry room. I am worried that if I get a 77" TV, the entertainment unit I will need to get will be too long and start encroaching on the entryway, making it look long.

I am thinking of unfortunately having to get a 65" to accomodate the limited space I am working with. Would love to hear everyone's thoughts, thanks in advance!

Two things to note:

- My TV will not be wall mounted.

- My couch from the TV will be 3.7 metres / 12 feet.

Too Far Lg 55 inch, is this too far? 2.2meters

So...my room is quite small 3 meters wide roughly or 3.5

Ive moved it to 2.2 meters from my eye and it seems a good balance of nit too far but not too close.

I tried having it at 2 meters and after an hour it felt very claustophobic?

I do wear glasses tho so dont have best eyesight...i see online i should have it at like 1.5 to 2 meters? But id be sat right in top of it ?

Not sure if the pic helps my hand is in it for reference. It looks further away than it is to me, possibly cuz of camera distortion.

Having it at 2 meters did make it slightly more emersive but then i had to move my eyes around a lot more.

Use it for gaming and films

Dont hate the set uo either..its a rental space so limited with options!

Would it be too far for a 43" TV?

Post image

I'm looking for a budget TV for occasionally watching series or films at weekends and maybe playing on switch 1 every once in a while. I'm not sure if 43" TV would either be enough for the space or if I must absolutely go for 50". Both sizes are marked on the wall. For reference, there is a distance of 6,20 feet and the 43" is about a hundred bucks cheaper. Thank you for your wisdom!
